I think Texans and Arkies would be great Sunday school kids!
They show up on Sunday, listen intently, and cook lunch afterwords.
Somebody say bacon?

I haven't got over to the other site yet. I'm down in LA Jolla VA today trying to get my knee looked at.

What a waste of a beautiful day. It's been in the mid 70's. Can't beat that.
Good luck with the knee. Had both ACL's reconstructed. That's where they remove 1/3 of the patella tendon bring it down, drill a hole up through the bottom of the knee, string the 1/3 in and put in in place on the top part of the knee joint with a screw. Rehab is exactly the same as knee replacement. Had the right knee replaced. The left knee needs to be replaced. I asked the doctor on the first knee replacement if he could do both at the same time and he said that the insurance companies would not authorize it because of the doubling of risk regarding blood clots.

The old saying if you get one done, you won't get the other one done is basically true. I'm waiting for the untruth part to take hold on me.

I have also had both rotators cuffs repaired. Needed to be done but the rehab is worse than the knee rehab. Trust me.

Barb (okmunky) had both knees done at the same time last year and to hear her tell it - all is well. I forget just how long after her replacements that she went zip lining with the Mutants. But it sure seemed like a short time.

Les. Remember - my beloved and dearly departed Aunt Bonita - the namesake of Bonita Bounded. (My Aunt Bonnie as a kid.) Well I'm sure your wife is a saint like my aunt. After all - who but a saint has a kitchen reno like she does?

We have a bunch of PHD doctorates speaking up now.
I can't believe how deep its getting laid by our resident Piled Higher and Deeper types.

If there was a way of bagging all this there would never be a fertilizer shortage.
