Few but those with first hand knowledge realize how much Steve put into the GC @ CL and how superb it was.
HE is why this gig flies! While some shoot for the moon, Steve shoots for the stars, hence RVMs have Rainbows to follow.

Thanks Les. You should have seen it projected on the movie screen!
Talked to Tim last night. He thinks his friend still has the video projector. If not I may still buy one cause it really makes for a great closing night.
Tim and I were also tying to find a company to do a luau hog for is but it looks a little steep so I'm going to smoke a few pig butts and shoulders and we'll dress em up with pineapple and smoke rings.
So Saturday Luau into Mutation - the pigs on us... sides are on you mutants. I will also provide multiple gallons of Hurricanes. They were fairly popular last year so I will repeat that. I need someone to take Jeffs place helping me taste test the mix. Have to get the right amounts of lime, orange and passion fruit mix to white and dark and 151 rum...
It's as much art as it is science.

THANKS Dave - but it takes all the mutants to make a rainbow... really starting to look forward to 1.2 an every day the more I look at Utah - the better it looks! A little more pondering and a few phone calls and we'll get that hammered out..

I understand your loyalty Herb, bein' from TX and all, but here's the results of the October 2014 Harris poll:
#1. Broncos
#2. Giants
#3. PACKERS
#4. Cowgir...Cowboys
Read it and weep here: POLL: Cowboys are no longer America's team; Broncos are No. 1 - CBSSports.com

Surely they didn't take this poll in Texas cause we got more people than all those states combined! Yeah that's it.

There's a hell of a lot of us Canucks who at one time thought and bled Packer Green and Yellow to us America's Team was the Packers. They were never as flamboyant or show as the Cowboys but just better at everything that was good.

Dennis when you refer to "at one time" I would think of the Lombardi years. That coach and his teams were definitely great. Now I don't know about flamboyant, but for us, coach Landry and the Staubach, Danny White era were all that was good too. Then Jimmy comes along and with Troy and Emmit and Micheal, we had another good run. I will agree if there is flamboyance in the organization it resides with Jerry. He hasn't been the most popular owner even in Texas. But he is starting to get out of the way and let the coaches coach and draft ie. Not takin Johnny Football (thank goodness) in the draft. Folks in these parts including yours truly bleed blue and silver and we are starving for a return to glory. This years team was a surprise to most who didn't pick the boys to go more than 8-8 at best and that was a stretch. But, when we got on a roll and got thru December without a loss, our fire was quickly re-kindled only to be snuffed out by a very questionable call at best.
I don't dispute Aaron Rogers is arguably the best quarterback in the NFL. But the Pack this year is nowhere near the caliber team of some of those past Packers teams IMHO. I know there are every bit as many die hard cheese heads as we have cowboy fans at home. But again, on the road the blue and silver in opponents stadiums are more prevalent than you see anywhere else in the league again IMHO.

Welcome home, Carl! Nine degrees ... I remember Nine degrees, and well below that too, as most on the tundra do. Would love to have had your toasty floors!

Gooood moooornin, Muteys! It's clearly too early for chitchat, but I'm too wide awake for sleep. That won't last.
It only took an hour of line dance class yesterday to put me into deep and early sleep. All together now: "Out of shape!" You betcha! Good sleeping, though.
So is it a walk or a bike ride this morning? Gotta work off that Baked Brie. You know: the one with pecans, brown sugar and Kahlua. Good even cold in the morning. Hafta try these recipes out before springing them on others, doncha know. (And it's GF, too, Dave.)
Have a superior day, y'all. The rainbow continues to beckon.

Poor Boko and Mac! Dragged from the sunshine back to the freezer. Oh the humanity! Some day their Dad will mutate away from w#¥k and give them the life they truly deserve.
Stay warm Carl and let us know when you can escape the frigid north again. We need to plan a mini-C with Sue, Martin, Papaw Steve and Mary Ann.
