Di, Larry is showing the true sigh of a fence builder, No not the dirt on his knees, but the layed back and feet up! Lol

I tend to get real dirty on the back side, I tend to sit and ponder the next move, and often!

Wayne - I quartered a cabbage and foil wrapped each quarter with butter - a little garlic salt and pepper and added a stops of bacon to it. They will go on the grill later today while I fry up some fish.

Come on down Wayne. There's room for you at our picnic table. Need some roundness on the the other end to balance it out...

Making another specialty around here..... Recipe from 40 years ago, cafeteria worker....
Brown gr beef with shredded cabbage till soft..... Add spices, pepper, salt, are main things.
Roll out a 6" round of yeast roll dough, plop some of the meat mixture in the center, pull up around it, twist, turn over, then let it rise..... Bake, serve with cheese sauce. They called them german burgers.... My sons still think they are treats....
"German burgers" i will take photos later.....

You can never do too much pondering on a labor intense job. On a section that I fenced a couple years back I didn't ponder enough. When I set back and looked at my work I had stretched nearly 300' of feld fence upside down, guess now I know why son is checking my work a lot more now! Lol ( I actually spotted it before I finished, just wasn't going to redo it.)🆑

15 inch, deep cast iron. The original non-stick cookware.

My big cast iron skillet is heavy! hard to tip out the contents and hang on with one hand while scraping stuff out with the other... I do take my cast iron dutch oven in the Honey with us though... and a smaller cast iron skillet...
If I was you, Steve... I'd cook in 2 batches, it'll get crispier...but... I'm not you.
