Mel, Steve may have a 2nd burner, but does he have a 2nd pan?

Rainy here, that means two little white dogs are nit very white. But their fence is finished, their yard is open, and they are like two kids at christmas....

Congrats, Diane, on finishing the fence! I'm in awe. There is NO WAY I'm ever going to put up a fence on my own at our place in Pagosa Springs ... although we're gonna need one there if/when we move there. I'll just have to pay to have one put up. Too many orthopedic surgeries to risk it!

I bet your cutie pie puppies are happy as can be with all that new-found freedom! Again ... congrats!

Oh, Diane, you are really torturing us. Just the photo of those cinnamon rolls made my mouth water. And to think ... I need to lose 40 lbs. Lord, I gained 2 lbs just LOOKING at those rolls.

Oh, yeah! All the most inviting foods seem to involve either bread or sugar. Double whammy here!

Night, mutants any-and every-where. Game, commercials, Downton Abbey, a juggling act to end all (NPI), followed by Grantchester ... I'm exhausted.

Is it over yet?

Nite Sue, Mel Steve is the author of "Murder at Rope Light Gulch" MARLG.

Everyone must be exhausted from the game, small flurry of post at the finish now nearly nothing. I suspect they're all getting old.

We are STILL sitting in our recliners with our mouths hanging open ... wondering what the hell Carroll's offensive coordinator was smokin' at the end of that game.

I bet Lynch and Wilson are wonderin', too. And I bet Lynch is STEAMIN' over that play.

The Seahawks GAVE that game to the Pats. Ridiculous. Well, I should say the Seahawks' offensive coordinator and head coach gave the game to New England.

However, we are very happy that Danny Amendola got a Super Bowl ring. He's a Texas Tech grad and has a lot of fans out here in West Texas. He and Wes Welker (also a Tech grad) have made us proud. (Not to mention, Louis Vasquez and Manny Ramirez from Tech who are titans on the Broncos' offensive line.) Football is the drug of choice for most people out here. It's ridiculous, really.
