Bacon and hammock always find their way into our green beans. Seems turnips or diced potatoes do as well.
The foil packs of buttered and seasoned cabbage on the grill are made better with bacon.
Bacon wrapped around any kind of pepper - stuffed or not is 2 thumbs up.
Wait... this isn't the bacon thread... what was I thinking. Lol. Afternoon and still not awake.
Today I had cantaloupe for breakfast. Have wrapped prosciutto around cantaloupe before. Wonder if bacon would work - cooked and skewered onto it with a toothpick. Hmm now I'm thinking shrimp rumaki....

Hammock??? Got me thinkin: did SpellCheck getcha again, or is this a vernacular for ham hocks? If the latter, I'm stealing it!
I don't care what time ya got up, bacon is always on topic!
Dinner Cruise on Naples Bay w/IL friends this evening. Showers may have gone for the day, w/any luck! If not, perhaps there will be rainbows.

It was in Dolby stereo and hi def 3D on my fruit fone. Like how clips of Dog and Wayne were put in the video!
Tim wants to repost it but does not want the moths to escape from his wallet. How long before currency turns to dust while tightly enclosed in faux leather while constantly warmed by a butt cheek? As long as it takes to put up a fence?

Hmmm. I guess the next time I cook greens I'll go outside and get hub's hammock out of the shed. As much as I love bacon, I'm not wild about boiling it. I have been known to put a bit into various veggies to add a bit o'flavor, though.

I have found the need to squirrell some of it away into the freezer so it actually will last until the next shopping trip... as someone thinks he needs to consume it daily... and as it is not the pastured kind... not sure his cholesterol levels are going to tolerate the daily abuse....so... if I can put a little of his favorite flavor into some meals in small amounts...any idea cooks? What are your favorite recipes which include the amazing taste of bacon in moderation?

Boil a couple of small potatoes the night before. Refrigerate. In the morning, cut 4 pieces of Wright's bacon into small pieces, before they burn add your sliced potatoes to the bacon and bacon grease, and cook til done. Whip up 4 eggs with a hand full of shredded cheese (your choice of type) and pour that mixture over the top. Try to cook the mixture so that you only turn the mixture twice. When eggs are done to your liking, serve it up to 2-3 people.
Easy Peasy and delicious.

Doubly nice because you don't realize it's a commercial. Very well done, Android. (Not in the same league as a Budweiser commercial, but up there. )

We get it par cooked and it to the greens and beans to finish off and add it's goodness. Not crisp but not wimpy either...

R U an RV Mutant too?
My mamma always had a jar of bacon grease in the fridgerator and put a spoon of it in all sorts of vegetables. Jenny and I always liked that, specially on Sundays. Preacher said it was the best and final essense of a good pig.
And that's all I have to say about that.

Thanks Marty, now how do you make a photoshop account? Is that separate from IRV2?

Possibly bad news Suspinz. We're 150 miles north of you and it started raining at least 3 hours ago and looks like an "all dayer" to me. Haven't checked the radar so hopefully this is heading more east than it is south.
Two days til a min-C with Barb and Sena. Hope the rainy weather really blows out of this area.
Suspinz, look for a park performer by the name of Jimmy Smith. Does a show entitled, "The Legends". By far one of the best shows we've seen. He's all over Florida doing shows. He was at Pigeon Forge for several years. Friends of ours hired him 10 years ago for one of his first paid gigs in Indianapolis. His Roy Orbison, Elvis, Conway Twitty, Neil Diamond, and others is very well done.
