New GC email list established.

Howdy Y'all,

I just set up another yahoo group email list so that we can directly communicate plans for the next upcoming GC. That way we won't have to clog this list with all the chat about meals and side trips.

From today until late April we'll use it to plan GC 1.2 and then we'll switch to GC2. I can enroll anyone who wants to be added and then switch them to individual or no emails as the situation warrants. If you know Yahoo you can go to the group webpage and change your status on your own.

The list is called RVM-GC. If you want to be added just send me a PM or email. Steve and Dave I'll add you both after I send this.

Yep - we will probably drop down to Sedona early - see my cousin in Peoria AZ - then Yuma - etc. My cousin has a lake in mind for us to visit and fish with him.

Annie and I are beside ourself that you and Honey will be there! I told you long ago she's a classic! Had a lady in here the other day with a Born Free. That was one of the other models I looked at back the day. The Airstream won out - but Honey is winner.

Stay warm!

Ok guys, I could use some advice.

I inherited Mike's Segway. It is too wide to drive up the stairs of my RV so I bought a cargo carrier that fits on the back of my Smart Car to transport the Segway. The problem is there is only about 4 inches between the road and the bottom of the carrier. I'm thinking it might be a good idea to add either rollers or swivel casters to the outside back corners of the cargo carrier. I could also raise the carrier higher using an adapter, but it will add extra weight and length to the tongue.

Also, which other IRV2 forum would be the best place to ask for non RVM opinions?

Hey Barb!
Something like this adds only a bit of length, about 5 inches of the overall 8 inches. Rated at 3500 lbs. There are others to choose from. This is only an example. You will need to measure and ponder and determine how much weight it will hold.
