Oh, I could go north for that. Just can't get to Utah while I'm working.

The original discussions on GCs was to move them around so everyone has the option to attend at one time or the other. The one in AR was such a success ( could have been due to the two outstanding host couples) and great facilities that the redux was a easy choice. Now that we are branching out (Ut) and we learn to do without the facilities like we had at CL we can adjust and move it around. That's just my opinion.

It's not the kimono turning that I worry about, it's the re-opening!

Just to make it easier on you post GCII you can foller me 'n Les as we meander back up to the north 40 er Canader. We all know you marines get a little sketchy on the navigating when you get past the her-eyes-on.
|
I don't navigate, Earlene is the navigator. Earlene is a Marine also. So, what was it you were saying?

That one got a good laugh out of me. We were scheduled to go out this weekend and over to Fort Sam, but I canceled the weekend and postponed Fort Sam. Waiting on 3 jacks that test bad for hydraulic leaks.

I inherited Mike's Segway. It is too wide to drive up the stairs of my RV so I bought a cargo carrier that fits on the back of my Smart Car to transport the Segway. The problem is there is only about 4 inches between the road and the bottom of the carrier. I'm thinking it might be a good idea to add either rollers or swivel casters to the outside back corners of the cargo carrier. I could also raise the carrier higher using an adapter, but it will add extra weight and length to the tongue.
Also, which other IRV2 forum would be the best place to ask for non RVM opinions?
|
Two options that you may consider. Go with the extension on the MH instead of the hitch on Smarty. You have next to zero tongue weight when towing a car so there would only be the Segway weight.
Second option is to let me haul the Segway around for you and whenever we meet at the GC's you can be the prime user.

I'm thinking it will be better to put the Seg carrier above the towbar on the back of the MoHo except for really short drives in Smarty. I'll just have to get a longer ramp for driving the Seg up onto the carrier. Or, I'll just take the Seg and leave Smarty.
Thanks guys!

Like Minds. Don't forget Option 2 above.

That is towing weight, and not tongue weight.

We could probably reduce some of the pollitical and dirty jokes on the original email list. Wouldn't hurt me any. Send me all of those in my email. I like a good laugh.

That is a very nice RV park. Their dog run is something the dogs jump for joy to enter. Large, large goggie park with beach water access to a lake (pond).
I don't think they have a meeting room.
