We could possibly join a post GC caravan in August if it doesn't wander too far to the east. We hope to wander around the western 1/4 of this grand country and end up storing our MH in Arizona sometime in late September/early October.

Our best to Don and Sandee. May your journeys and our's cross again in the future. Travel safe.
Steve,

You might want to delay that trip to AZ by 3-4 weeks. Check out the average temps.

I'm the other Steve but I think they way they roll - is to get the rainbow rider out of Indiana and stored in Florida / Arizona before the cold arrives. Then, after the holidays slip out in the toad between cold fronts... but that's just my recollection.

Normal - What? I thought I joined a mutant group? I was hoping we would fit in.

"We" might be a slight inaccuracy, unless by "we" you mean Our Roundness, Wayne. As he reminds us periodically, round is a shape & he's in it. No, the song is distinctly Wayne's, and he'll be more than happy to share it.

Welcome, Deb, to this alternate universe! You do need to learn the secret handshake, which will naturally require much practice to master. And someone will be along to pass the mop and bucket (or is it broom and ... I fergit!) for your use in cleanup detail. We seem to need a lotta cleanin up after.

Enjoy the ride. We're glad of your company!

Cheers!

Martin had an idea yesterday. Drum roll! Spouses and partners of registered bona fide mutants might be identified as their mutant's number plus point one. So Martin would officially be #36.1.

Don't everyone jump on it at once , now! I think he wants to count. 😘

I love it.... Martin wants to be one....
Larry said he just puts 64 1/2, since he is the other half.... So maybe 64.5 instead of fractions.....

Is Herb still out there? Anyone talk to him? Dallas is supposed to get the snow and ice tomorrow before us....
Tim.... Wanta build another snowman? Herb might be on his way to AR...

Yep, that's what we've done on occasion. Store it rather that drive it. One time to save fuel when we know we're going right back to AZ in the Winter and once to escape the cold without the MH and "meet" the MH in Florida in the Winter. Seems to make sense to us since we don't drive about Indiana or the Midwest from late October to April. Driving just the toad back from AZ saved us money even counting hotels and gas.

Might spend some time in the hills of Arizona (cooler) and then drive to Phoenix for a day or so to prep it for storage.

Papa Steve that's an interesting concept. Do you just find a park that offers storage or Camping World or what. We might be interested in trying that sometime. I assume you winterize it, what else?

Before I go read a few pages and provide my witty remarks, the Texas Contingent of the RVMutants had a Mini-C this evening. We met at the Kemah Boardwalk in Kemah, TX and proceeded to the Flying Dutchman eatery. Present were Dave and Jeannnie (JNE), Bot and Stephanie (TEFFY) and Wayne and Earlene (WAYNE M). As usual a fantastic time was had by all, well at least us. Proof is in the pictures.
