Sue is offering to lead a class in kumihimo weaving. AKA making lanyards.... Using a simple weaving wheel....

I did one yesterday with the plastic flat cord, did another today with paracord for dog collar..... Really is simple to do.....

If interested in doing at Redux, let her know so she can get supplies.... About $5..... Maybe a little more....

Learn to make your own.... Please let your other half know too.....

I remember that stuff being popular back when I was a teen. I didn't really get into it as I'm not so much into crafty things (hmmm…..depends on the craftiness I guess )…in any case, not sure if it's exactly the same thing but it sure looks it.

I might be tempted if I could make some type of harness for these monsters I have. Not sure I'd live through putting it on them but that's a different problem.

looks fun, maybe can do at the canyon too?

Psst... Bob is studying aviation maps as we speak, he is afraid of the higher altitude, less power for engine, but thinks green river or canyonlands might be easier to fly...lower altitude not too far from Bryce.
edit.] those are airports not too far from the area I believe.

C'mon, y'all. Ya know ya want to! Not hard to learn, and even though not nearly as impressive as Di's watercolors, you could do both and really impress the neighbors. Be the first on the block. In the park. On the lake!

Lessee: dog collar, leash, fish stringer (why not?), utility cord, package tie, somethin to hold yer britches up.... The mind boggles!

Di and Sue - - - - Sign Mary Ann up for the class. I asked and she said "Sure".
It will be fun for me to watch. My fat fingers would be a hindrance not to mention remembering repetitive creative techniques.

Kumihimo, btw, was the braid used by the Samurai to secure the various parts of their armor together and onto themselves. I'm sure it goes further back than that.

Gotcha. Mary Ann is on the list.

Now that I have a list, that is. 😉

I don't know if Mary has seen 50 shades of gray BUT she ask if you can get gray cord and have a pattern for handcuffs!

Oh it's probably props for the Western Theme at Bryce Canyon
