Dang and i know of nothing that helps those stings.... They bother me for weeks.... Hope you didnt get many....
Maybe an essential oil of some variety..... Tea tree?
Ok quick google.... Several sites say purification oil followed by lavendar oil.....

Barb...fire ants will form a flotilla to survive.... And when one finally touches something to climb out on...then they break up the mat. Saw a video on YouTube or somewhere... I'll find and post this afternoon....
