So I also found a reference to what I had said about Vitamin B being a source to make you less attractive to mosquitoes.
Extra Thiamine May Make Mosquitoes Think You Stink
A study back in the 1960s indicated that taking vitamin B1 (thiamine) may be effective in discouraging mosquitoes from biting. However, studies since then have been inconclusive.18 The theory is, taking more vitamin B1 than your body requires causes the excess to be excreted through your urine, skin, and sweat. Vitamin B1 produces a skin odor that female mosquitoes seem to find offensive.
This vitamin is water-soluble, and there is no danger of toxicity—even at high doses—so it is a safe measure to try. Dr. Janet Starr Hull recommends taking one vitamin B1 tablet a day from April through October, and then adding 100 mg of B1 to a B100 Complex daily during the mosquito season to make you less attractive to mosquitoes. You may also want to forgo bananas during mosquito season, as something about how they are metabolized appears attract mosquitoes. Research also suggests that regularly consuming garlic or garlic capsules may help protect against both mosquito and tick bites.

and the source where I found it this time is here: Simple Preventives on How to Avoid Mosquito Bites. but the first time I found it was in a Rodale magazine, either organic gardening or their health one (Prevention) long ago .... ( Like late 70's or early 80"s)

The judging table could turn into a snack down, or worse a smack down!

Sorry Steve, you will not get a laugh out of those like me that are sensitive to others shortcomings. We would find it rude and possibly hurtful to those affected. So no laughs, well ok maybe a giggle

So... Steve, you must not use it much if you haven't pulled it out once in...let's see...in 4 months... I have looked at them, drooled about them, coveted, and told myself many times... 'oh, it will be like the juicer and waffle iron...only gets pulled out 1 or 2 times a year and the rest of the time it takes up counter space or cabinet space....' So... do you plan to use it for something healthy and fun?

It's been used for both over the years. It makes great frozen drinks - smoothies - soup etc. It's just a matter of working it into your life. If you will use it, you'll love it. But Annie isn't a big blender person - or juicer.

Well... That's the question... if I'll use it... I keep watching friends Iknow who have them to see how long the 'thrill' of using it takes to wear off on the average .... I think the hardest part of juicing is the prep and cleanup... the juice goes down fast...LOL!
