Yep, I have spinal stenosis which is less painful when bending over than when standing. Plus I like the quick positive results that weeding accomplishes, and there is a never ending supply.
When I was a live-in personal assistant/monkey nanny/house manager I would go outside for the newspaper every morning March thru October and not go back inside until the plastic bag that held the paper was full of weeds. Once the flowerbeds were weed free, I started weeding the boss lady's half acre front yard. She had the best yard in the neighborhood.
It's a sickness without a support group.

The Mobil app seems to still be down for me. Logging in to this Mobil skin is unnatural and not the experience I'm looking for. It's better the village mobile interface but not as good as the app. Going to turn in and await the 30 degree weather. Sitting at the picnic table enjoying the 70 degrees, calm wind and looking at what must be a near full moon. This is the kind of evening that draws people to the RGV. Tomorrow will be the kind of day people leave the northern states to come here.
Wally and his master and mistress are pulling out early - leaving Friday and heading back to Ft. Worth. She can't shake the allergies and RGV crud.
The rainbow is still the only place to be! And we are loving the life! Can't wait for GC1.2 and to see the smiling faces of you mutants.
It may be time to hit the roster with PMs... see if we can still up a few more... if there's someone on the roster you have really missed - give em a PM...

Our new baby!
Let me introduce you guys to...Our new Mutant Maniac!
We picked her up on Monday and spent the last two days going over everything and checking out all the systems. Everything was looking good as we were only finding small things to have fixed (a screen, a knob on one night shade, a drawer that wasn't in right, etc. Then this morning as we prepared to leave...did the black water, gray water and then went to do the santi flush system when water started gushing out from under the middle of the trailer. So we went back to the dealer and went over our list with them. They were hoping to fix all the minor things and get us on our way but with the water problem we left her behind. I'd rather them take their time and get it right than rush and do a so so job.
And now to catch up on all the pages I am behind....

In Idaho, it is now legal to pick up road kill. Just make sure you are not the one to hit it and DH says they are already tenderized. Unless you archery hunt, rifle doesn't start until 10/10. We will bring our own deer steaks when we come. (NOT road kill though - just muzzleloader kill.)

This is our backyard - we won't let you get lost. Beside, you can journey on north and go fishing on the Clearwater River for steelhead. Catch & Release for part of the river. Different section open at different times for catch & keep. Or you could take a jet boat ride up the Snake River to Hell's Canyon - deeper canyon than the Grand Canyon. Too many things to see and do. You may never want to go back.
