I've been lerking around today and probably several more days. I went back to the beginning and been muddling my way thru all post to enjoy what all you vetern mutants have enjoyed since the start of this glorious adventure. I'm not even close to half way yet. So far..64 mutants and plans for the first GC are well underway. What adventures await...thru the eyes and wonderings and words of fellow travelers? This is the best book I've read in quite awhile!

Keep in mind that before the first GC very few of the mutants had meet. I've told people I think I know what Internet dating would be like. All I knew of these mutants was what I had read on the forum. Amazing how they turned out much as you would have expected. First face to face was more about hugging old friends than shaking hands with strangers. A great and diverse group of people!

Deb (I presume)..
These mutants are extraordinary.
We have no idea where some of them went - so spoiler alert - some come and go and I assure you - you will miss them one all just as we do. You'll wonder where they went but be glad to have "known" them. Every last mutant to step forward was first rate, funny, smart, kind and good hearted. They all put their signature and personal touch to the journey.
I know you can't make GC1.2 Redux - but if you can make Bryce you will meet some fine mutants and be glad ya did!
Hope to see ya on the rainbow!

Karaoke is for singing the correct words to a song, I Never let the lack of known lyrics keep me from singing!
Mustang Rally, I see some Mustangs up ahead
Oh, Mustang Rally, if I stay here I'll be dead
You must not race your Mustang
Or surly you will find
You lost your bet

Tim and Steve, thanks for the words that encapsulated GC1.0@CL and the spirit of RVMdom!

So far we don't have a machine that I know of and Jim the DJ and his lovely dancing assistant Ginny can't make it this year to set up the Mutant Bandstand. :(

Deb, I thank you also.
You have traveled through the thrilling days of yesteryear in RVMville. Our RVM anniversary is April 14th; only 2 years since Steve said a few fateful words that launched this amazing Journey on the Rainbow.

Mornin Muteys!
I don't know if any of you are fans of the program "Shark Tank" but I am an avid fan. Since the subject of karioki is being discussed I am reminded of a couple of guys that recently appeared on the show with their very unique karioki machine. It was very high tek....made for people like Tim who can't carry a tune in a bucket. This machine will correct your voice so your always on key! Wish I had one cause I could use it too! Love to sing and not bashful at all so bring your earplugs as I let it rip( singing that is) or at least my version of it!

Great, off-key & off-topic too!
You know, if you try & sing the lyrics to a Weird Al Yankovic remake, you might actually get the original lyrics correct!
Kind of like translating English into Chinese and then back into English again.
