Sage and calming advice! Please ignore him this once, for the sake of the list.

The generator is shot, and there was apparently either an accident with spaghetti sauce, or major bloodshed - the ceiling in the kitchen had funny red stains on it.

We realized that we don't like brass hardware and oak cabinets, and this had both. We also like higher ceilings, and a king-sized bed. Driving it was fun, and one is in our future. The right one will be along when the time is right.

On the other spectrum, I studied up for about 1 year, and bought the second one I looked at on a whim. I was out west on vacation looking at RVs recreationally. Go figure....

Yep. We've had rain off and on all day. I read in the local news that the golf courses here have taken a beating this year with all the rain. They say it was bad last year but worse this year.

It's really pleasant when it's not raining or blowing wind... we had a little rain when Dave and Deb were here, but overall really a nice couple days.

We knew it was coming so we tool advantage of the dry day yesterday and packed the outside up. We're down to dumping and disconnecting outside. Need to stow things inside but Annie has that down to an art form these days.

Will make my calls to rv parks tomorrow. Have a few pieces of mail coming this way before we can go. Getting that journey itch...

Wouldn't you know it. It is a month before turkey season and what goes strutting down the middle of the road in front of our house but a fat ole Tom with a nice beard.
