Mel, I learned a long time ago that I'm the trespasser. And that's fine most times. That particular slitherer had decided to go up the stairs...not so fine. He would have hated the decorating scheme.
So many wild and beautiful places to see ... and treasure ... and care for. We must trespass gently.

Now Mr. Black Snake must learn to stay in his home and leave yours be. He was just very, very lucky to have wandered into your home and not the home of some serpent-hater who would have chopped off his little head!

There will be an award named in your honor. Need to ponder the name of said award.

I just find it so funny when that pic shows up. And I remembered it wasn't 60 min's, it was the CBS Sunday Morning show I watch. It was really neat so many doppelgängers…literally hundreds and hundreds this guy has photographed. Total strangers that look alike.

This took quite awhile to figure how to take a photo off my phone and post on here. It seems my new laptop does not recognize the phone through the usb port. I'm sure I did it the hard way but was able to save the pic from phone to photobucket and then come back on laptop to post the pic. But it should be worth it.

We went to town today and stopped by the Builders Supply store. What was on the shelf but this....

Not sure if it's been posted before but thought a reminder wouldn't hurt.

The generator is shot, and there was apparently either an accident with spaghetti sauce, or major bloodshed - the ceiling in the kitchen had funny red stains on it.

We realized that we don't like brass hardware and oak cabinets, and this had both. We also like higher ceilings, and a king-sized bed. Driving it was fun, and one is in our future. The right one will be along when the time is right.

I spotted this on eBay. It's pretty cheap so would leave room for someone to renovate to their liking. Just a thought Elizabeth. I'm not sure of what you're looking for or budget, but you can PM me and I'll try to help. I'm on line every day looking.
