Hey Wayne... guess what - so far so good. Pulled in up here near the old Plano homestead and was immediately attached by mosquitos. Pulled this thing out and - zap - gone.

Herb already has a case of some kinda rear end - maybe this will be an improvement.

I am curious. Does it have a smell to it? I can't use traditional mosquito repellants cuz of the smell and my allergies. I'll have to check it out next time we get to town.

Modest at most - the propane heats a metal plate and the treated pad sits above it. I wasn't really sure it was working but I could see the flame and feel the warmth of the heat. If I looked closely I could see a little smoke.

Wayne and Barb have them and have used them more. This is my first time.

Deb, I can't use deet due to skin allergies. I've used both Thermocell and the Off Clip On with success. There is a slight smell of butane burning when you first light the Thermocell, but that's about it. I don't recall any odor with the Off system.

Carl, I gotta get RVM plates when mine are due in August. Too cool! I can't let you and Steve be the only ones that have them.

Herb, WOOT woot! You gotta be proud of those girls!

Then Sons and Daughters in law/girlfriends and my sister and her crew for dinner, watched a movie with the gals while the boys played croquet and broke a stick, flew kites, and babysat the grands... and Robbie now says papa when referring to grandpa, no words for me yet, and Baby Eli rolled over from his back to his tummy for the first time, and then repeated it twice after that! Then it was back out to the farm...came home with a bunch of eggs. Farm folks home tomorrow afternoon. So I'm catching up and pretty tuckered from all the activity today!

Colleen, very good to hear there is some interest in your S&B,
Steve, sounds like you are making tracks.
Herb, go team! don't get hoarse from screaming.
Dave, sounds like you are trucking!
Ya'll be careful now... ya hear?
Thinking about going camping locally next weekend. Not many out and if the weather is warm, would be fun. My sister usually tries to get out weekends starting in April, wonder if she is interested... too much going on to ask her today.

A long day at the Sundquist house, but I'm sure it was quite rewarding, Marty!
Our tracks are done. In Cloud Nine in HS for 2 weeks.
Next stop: CL!
Loading up the Kimono with deep, dark secrets right now!

If it smells it's not much! I use one during early season bow hunting season. If it smelled much a deer would have smelled it for sure!

Thanks all for the feedback. I have a very sensitive nose. There are lots of things I can't be around including: cigarettes, bleach, perfumes, bug spray, lots of soaps, lotions, cock roaches, all grasses, roundup, and the list goes on. That doesn't include the food allergies. LOL. I really am a mutant!
