Look forward to more MC with mutants....
I have NOT made any repairs... did receive my replacement Fantastic domes today.
Riverplantation RV park is OK not near as nice as CL.
Gravel pull throughs mostly...few full cement pads. Some sites are pretty tight although ours being on the outside edge is not bad.

Stopped for a visit with Sue and Martin at a rest area in Illinois. Small world for mutants.

Roflmao!

Tim, tell us some super AR state parks to check out the next time we go through your fine state. We've camped (TT) at Mt. Magazine SP. Enjoyed it very much, except for the 2 days we were socked in with pea soup fog. Kate got awfully tired of me cheating at cards! We were pretty much stuck in that TT for 2 days. You couldn't see 6 feet in front of your face! I think y'all have bigger fog than we do. ;-)

Really enjoyed our tour and tasting at Cowie Cellars. Can't remember the name of the town it's close to, but we visited there the week we were at Mt. Magazine.

Well since you ask!
Just across town from CL is Lake Ouchita State Park, very class A friendly, full hookups, no cable. Petite Jean State Park very nice, trails and waterfalls! That'll get you started, there are 52 total"

Those 2 parks sound great. We don't care about cable, more about the scenery and full hookups. Our retirement budget is gonna be small, so cost will factor in before long.

Arkansas is a beautiful state with the friendliest folks!
(Luv ya, Larry & Di!)

Was thinking about SPI the other day and wishing the sun had shown it's face a little more. Hope all is well and hope paths cross again soon.
Keep those mutant mugs handy. We will share some Joe and crisp bacon one day!
It's doing fine Steve. Were going to be in Myrtle Beach ,SC in 6 days. Spi was so windy, rainy and cold, I don't think I will try that again in the winter. Hope to meet up with you guys soon. Safe travels out there to you and Annie.

Kinda reminds me of a story my favorite Uncle used to tell. There were three bulls, a big bull, a medium bull and a little bull, residing in a field of beautiful grass. Everyday at noon they would all three wistfully stare at the train going by and all three wished they could get aboard to go for greener pastures.

One day the train actually stopped by their field so when no one was looking the three jumped aboard a cattle car to see where it would take them. For a full day all three watched the scenery going by and commented to one another about the beauty. For the next full day again all three watched the scenery going by and commented to one another about the beauty.

On the next full day after watching and commenting on the beautiful scenery the big bull said the next time the trains stops I will be getting off to check out these green, green fields; and he did just that and wandered happily into his glory.

For a full day the two remaining bulls watched the scenery going by and commented to one another about the beauty. For the next full day again both watched the scenery going by and commented to one another about the beauty.

On the next full day after watching and commenting on the beautiful scenery the medium sized bull said the next time the trains stops I will be getting off to check out these green, green fields; and he did just that and wandered happily into his chosen pasture.

As he wandered away from the train he turned and asked the littlest bull to join him in the field. The little bull declined and awaited to see where the train was going next. I told you all this just to let you know that sometimes a little bull goes a long way.
