Well, I hope we're as intelligent as those Europeans. Ha ha. Surely we'll get the hang of it. Oh, wait ... that's the secret, right? Wash, dry, then HANG stuff out to finish drying.

Hey! Go easy on Tim.

I have several pair similar to those!
They're called board shorts. I can't hang out with my 17 year old daughter in "Old Guy" apparel.

Oh, you'd get such a kick outta him. I took him to the grocery story to buy ice cream after we left CEC. He grabbed one of their kiddie carts and took off. I could barely keep up. He was flying down those aisles like they were gonna ban ice cream for 4 year olds the next day.

He picked out chocolate ice cream, "gold crackers" (Goldfish crackers), oreos, graham crackers, oranges and Juicy Juice drink boxes. I finally told him "We're done! Time to go to Aunt Mel & Aunt Kate's house to eat ice cream."

At the checkout, he pushed his little cart up and started handing the checker his items. He talked to her as he unloaded, "Have you ever been to Chuck E. Cheese? I have!" "Do you have a dog?" "When does Santa Claus come back?" "My mommy loves me!" Checkers and shoppers in the aisles next to us stopped everything and just watched and listened to him. They were mesmerized.

When he'd handed her his last item, he reached in his pocket and proudly pulled out a wallet. He opened it and handed the checker a "debit card." (One of those credit card sized ad cards from a cable tv company.) I slipped her an extra $5 and whispered to her to give him "change." When she handed him the receipt and the $5, saying "Here's your change" he jumped up and down, waving it in front of me. Then he stopped and very seriously asked if we could go back to Chuck E. Cheese.

"Not tonight, Brody, not tonight." But I will definitely be taking him back to the grocery store. He made their day! And mine.

R U an RV Mutant too?

We had a scary close call while traveling home today. We were doing 45 mph on a clear day on an open two lane road when a car coming down a road perpendicular to us ran through the stop sign and into our path. I swerved to avoid him and then back to stay off of the median, which had a severe downward slope. My decisions were sound, as we are still in one piece and so is the moho. My racing heart overrode my pacemaker.

Then we had a guy towing a trailer force me off the side of the road because he tried to come into my lane without checking if someone was there first.

I think I have driving PTSD 😢
