A couple yers ago my young neighbour went out rocking with his jacked up "Pathfinder" with the huge tires and snorkel et al. About 1:00 am his mother was banging on our door and she asked if I would go up and rescue them and gave me his cell number. I called and got approximate directions and headed up the mountain. I waded a couple of creeks and finally got to them. Their first question was " Mr D how'd you get that up here?" The three kids all piled in and we headed home and they were going back out on quads later to repair the broken suspension. About a week later he showed up at home in an old Jeep Grand Cherokee (stock) and he still drives it. On our way out he learned you don't have to be high you just have to be careful.

Like Marty said - there should be rentals available. We plan to rent one and may have room. Maybe even share expense and rent for a couple of days. No worries. It always works out in the end!

Where would be the closest place that rents jeeps? Anyone know?
|
When I first spoke to the folks at Ruby's I was told there were jeeps for rent down the street from them. The place is kind of the central location for all sorts of activities. I think even helicopter rides.. we will be looking into all of this as August nears. We may even make a pre-visit on our way to Vegas in July.

Hello Barb! Earth to Barb.
Some sever tornadoes in your neck of the woods.
Are you okay?

Thanks to that store, I now know that my allergy shots are working! I went into a store the other day and was able to actual stay in the store and look around. Usually about 2 seconds in the store and I'm heading back out the door from the smell and coughing up a storm.

Sounds like a plan. We'll let you fight amonst yourselves on who gets the priviledge of our wonderful company. PS Must stop for geocaches! And we'd be glad to help with expenses.

Wayne, Barb is alright, she was here about an hour ago. Sena and Spook had a meeting, Spook did all the talking and Sena tried to find someplace to be where he wasn`t HA.
My son lost everything except his cellar, that was in Bridgecreek. Now they are living in the house that I didn`t sell.
Have a happy.

Warren--so sorry to hear of your son's loss! I assume no one was injured, so that's a blessing. Thanks for letting us know Barb's whereabouts.
