Those cowboy boot-flip flops are .... they're soooo .... well, I think they ....
Ok. They're just wrong on every level.

On a happy note, Kate helped officiate at her niece's wedding on Saturday. It was at a 1,000 acre ranch about an hour and a half from us. We've had SO much rain this year, the wildflowers are absolutely spectacular. The wedding site was literally surrounded by wildflowers.

I don't know how to separate and rotate pics! Somebody help?!

1. Kate's niece, Allison, in white. To her left, Kate's nephew, Todd.
2. Allison and hubby James
3. Allison and Kate. Allison is very special to us. She has stood with us from the beginning. Kate's brother David (and Allison's dad) died 3 years ago. We miss him so much. He would have been so proud! Although Allison is adopted, blood could not make her more a part of our family.

They rotated ok.... To separate, just space before you add another one, or space between the brackets.....

Thanks, Di. Will see if I can get the hang of it next time I post pics. I tried to go back and edit and fix 'em, but can't seem to figure it out. But, then I've had a long day (w**k). Tired brain. (I think there's still one up there ....)

Wait a minute ... here's my cup, put some liquor in it ...

Oops. Got side-tracked. Dave, I'm SHOCKED! Your toes are just plain! Where's your pedi-sense? How do we even know those are YOUR toes? They're not painted green.

It looks like a beautiful and natural setting for the wedding. Congrats to the newlyweds.

Great pics of flowers. The person(s) paying for lovely flowers at the ceremony saved about $40,000 on those beauties.

I can't contain myself. I've got to ask. Does anyone else feel that the nightly news and internet headlines are trying to compete with Jerry Springer and Maury Povich?

Seriously, what next is going to be treated as serious news? Should we report the sighting of a person who thinks they're a unicorn at a gathering of mutants in Arkansas and his loyal followers will swear to his authenticity? Earlene could be on all four major networks, FoxNews, CNN, and MSNBC. Whoopee !!!!

BTW all, the big storm is surrounding Texas City but so far just light rain as it is as stated surrounding us. Surrounding towns, Galveston, Seabrook, Bolivar, Surfside and others have seen flooding in neighborhoods and roadways. Travel could be a little iffy.

Thank you Lord for sparing us the the torrents of rain.
