As for wintering in AZ, we're going to stay at Voyager Resort, just out side of Tucson from 1 Dec until 1 Mar. Come join us.

Steve, the VA can be a real pain when traveling. Every time I go into a clinic or VA hospital. If you walk in, you might get seen on a first come first serve basis , but usually you have to make an appointmnt, and If your not going to be there that long it's difficult. Even though the VA has computers, you still have to re register in the state your currently in. That's how it's been with me, the last 4 times I've tried to use the VA system.

We will take a look and try to get there for a month... but after last year, I won't commit to 3 or 4 months at one place again... thanks for the heads up and on McCall Pics....

I was just picturing a fly floating on the waters of the lake and you posted the remark quoted. I will definitely head for there on the way home if this Bryce trip materializes. Its only a few miles off the route home.

I'd heard that. I have been using Tri Care and private docs. But options are good! My retirement is with the Air Force. Have not tried a walk in on a base yet... lol.

The only bugs I recall are harvester ants. They don't bite.

It's quite beautiful. We've been there twice in 2 days. It's at the north end of the lake about 12 miles or so away from all the kooks. Very peaceful, and the trout were rising all over.

Yeah! Did I miss the final Firebird pics? I know you busted your buns on it, your Jeep and your Moho. Traveling must be a relief from all the knuckle busting work.
Travel safe, Bro.
