I don't miss the skeeters!
Knock on wood skeeters ain't been too bad so far this year around home here anyway. I always thought northern pike was a sweeter, tastier meat than the wallys. Never did too much panfishin', but they are good too.

Ken - any update on your plans for a coach. I keep thinking you will surprise us any day with an announcement. It would be nice to have you on the rainbow with us. Ya know Ruby's in Bryce has a hotel??? Not sure if you would have to fly into Vegas and rent a car or of there's another way to get there... a grand time will be had by all!

R U an RV Mutant too?

Even New Jersey gave up on roundabouts (circles up here) 40 years ago and began demoing them for regular intersections. They still love their jug-handles though, so us normal drivers have to scramble over to the right to make a left turn....when marked of course.

They started doing that in the Kansas City area... Drives me nuts...but so do the traffic circles although I'm finally getting used to them.

Oh yes. AZ is a definite maybe. Especially with mutants in the area! I'm also in the "move once a month" frame of mind. Or more often. That's why there are the wheels on the bus!

Well... CRVMutant is hooked up and ready to roll... tanks dumped, sewer line cleaned and stored, laundry all caught up and it's off to MMDC Resort in the morning. Can't wait.

Hopefully the visit to Nebraska Truck Center will go quickly and we actually get on the road at a reasonable time.

Howdy, Y'all!
Figgered it wuz time to check in with the friendly mutants.
When you let your second home become lawn art, it takes a lot of work to get rollin' again.
Just for instance, MICE! Got 'em all dead and gone, now have to wash everything in galley drawers, & cupboards. Check.
ANTS! think carpenter ants who left piles of white grains on counter top, actually little tiny bites of foam which they mined to get through the wall. Got 'em all dead and gone, now have to wash all the walls and countertops to make sure their trails are gone. Check.
ROOF! Cleaned the old Dicor and had enough in the tube to dab on the little holes and cracks around the vents.
VENT! this is a story unto itself, but just have to say the guy at MAXX AIR is wonderful!
This is boring stuff, EH?
Can't wait to get to the point where we are loading up for the next journey.
Whoop!

Talking of roundabouts and speaking as an ex-pat Brit, I can tell you that you won't have seen anything as exciting as the magic roundabout in Swindon, UK. There are several others like this and essentially it is a roundabout with two way traffic circulating it. Each of the feeder roads are attached to it by a mini roundabout and so, if you were heading for what would normally be the third or fourth exit, you can now enter, turn the other way and make your intended exit the first exit. I tell you it works very well.

Now that you have that out of the way... there's still time to get to Bryce Canyon with us!

Dang! Must be a new-fangled-car. All of our cars had user buttons to set the oil life back to 0%.
