I was going to ask that same question, was it turned on. My controllers (two awnings) are in my front driver side compartment and there is an off/on push button plus the speed settings. There is also a reset for my remote controls. Just sayin' Herb.

This may be of interest to Tim. Sue and I popped over to Newark Park and House, just a few miles away from our cottage.



The house is Tudor and described as a hunting lodge. It was built by Sir Nicholas Poyntz in 1550 and I suppose it was the then equivalent of what you would now call a deer stand. It stands at the top of the Cotswolds Escarpment near a village called Ozleworth and this is the view to the south.



Subsequent owners of Newark added to and altered the house, turning it into an impressive and comfortable home. It eventually fell into disrepair until it was discovered and saved by a Texan architect named Robert Parsons. The estate is now owned by the National Trust and open to visitors.

It was a beautiful sunny day for a drive in the Cotswolds, concluding with a stop in Dursley for some fish & chips.

but this park has a stay 3 get 1 night free the month od september, free shuttle to Silver Dollar City, whuch has a 2 day for price of one day for military.... Larry has never been, and I havent in years... With the shuttle we can go back, take a nap and return... Lots of crafts.... Mainly just a getaway within our clise to Little Rock radius....

Btw... Good news, kidney ultrasound... They are normal, not enlarged, no lumpy areas....

Tim, we are not sure of when we will be at Jacobs Lake, but probably 2 nites the 13th and 14th. That makes for one day on the Rim, maybe 2 if we get there early.

Sue and Martin, you pop over to some downright nifty digs! My fanciest "hunting lodge" was a trailer that I had to pop up.
Bless those that save the right places for all to see! Alas, my pop up is a mere shadow of itself and now hauls wood for a neighbor in PA. Not available for restoration.

Just looking at it on the outside will not show anything and to get it properly inspected (think xray) is costly. Wayne, sounds like solid information. Ouch! Each tire has 46,000 miles on them in 5 years of running on the road. Solid tread left on all but as you said, what condition are they really in? Do I trust the remaining tires for 5 miles, 500 miles, 5,000 miles, or 25,000 miles? Fronts have definitely seen their last summer. Thanx Your opinion needed concerning my safety quotient.

We have safely landed at St. George. This is a nice, in city - just off highway, low noise believe it or not, rv park. It'll work for 5 nights and a site seeing base quite nicely.

Have yet to see the pool buts it's on the list. Not as hot as Vegas, but still hot. Another 5,500 feet or so and we should be good!!! Hello Bryce - mutants calling your name!
