A couple pics from today.

Navajo loop looking down to Wall Street which is a slot canyon with hoodoos on top. If you look real good down to the bottom, those spots are people hiking the trail.

Sunrise Point if I remember right. Interesting root system.

Sunset Point

Here's what Bob wrote up for me since I can't remember it all:
At those altitudes, weight limit for passenger needs to be 240 or less.
Kanab Municipal Airport
This is about 1.5 hr S of Bryce Canyon. We will be going through Kanab on Wednesday and could stay here if we chose to do so. There are several campgrounds with 2 mi of the airport; no camping on the airport. If someone wanted to come down Wednesday evening and fly early Thursday morning that might be possible. Wednesday evening’s forecast is windy.
Bryce Canyon Airport
This is close to the campground but is above 7000 feet. I don’t want to fly with a passenger from this airport. If I have opportunity to fly by myself and think the performance is OK I may reconsider.
Hanksville Airport
This is about 3 hr NE of Bryce Canyon and would be a good place to stop and fly on the way to Idaho. We have permission to camp on the airport, and there is also a campground in town a few miles away. It looks like there would be good scenery around here. If someone wanted to go here with us he or she could fly with me.
Green River Municipal Airport
This is farther to the NE from Hanksville. We have permission to camp on the airport. It looks like there would be good scenery around here.

Long tiring day of travel today by car, train, another train, a bus, then finally car again. Evening tea is really welcome. Makes ya kinda miss the Moho!

Martin thought you might be interested in his screen shot of the speed of our Leuchars to Newcastle train:

Attachment 103523

Better than that, now that we are safely in Rothbury, is the view from our bed-, dining, and living rooms:

Sheep and river and hills to the front, horses up the hill behind us. It's very quiet but for the animals and the birds. Ahhhh!

Think we'll have a quiet day tomorrow, just drinking in that view and replenishing our batteries. Only so much excitement us olde folkes can take!

Cheers!
Wow... we mutants seem to have a thing gorgeous views!

We sure miss you two. But, thanks for sharing. It's almost like you're here - or we're there!

Bryce Canyon is gorgeous. The wonders of nature never fell to intrigue me. Tomorrow we're doing a day trip down to Zion NP while several muteys go Jeepin'.

Here's a couple more Bryce pics.
