WAKE UP!
We got hikeing, rock climbing, chili cooking, jeepn, and all sorts of grand things to do today! Shoot I might even write a little Cowboy Poetry to recite tonight. Tonight's the big cowboy hoo down were all the cow hands will be coming in there best duds and there dance hall gals by their side! Thanks to Annie we have an official stump for grand Poobah to tilt his sombrero from. It's going to be another grand day to be a mutant!

Would have loved to but I left my skinny riding shorts at home. Darn!

I'm sure Cheryl looks good in skinny riding shorts, but I reserve comment on you Larry!

The pork butt was delicious. Truly tasty, juicy, and easy on the eye. Nice effort Steve and your trusty assistants.

The buffet selection was out of this world. Will not mention individual dishes for fear of leaving something unmentioned.

We will probably have to leave a day early (Sunday) to get to Salt Lake City for a Monday a.m. tire switcheroo. Mental midgets in Indiana put on a 70R instead of an 80R (the 80R is Michelin specific). Best I can find is a Goodyear 75R in SLC. Michelin 80R is on 6 week backorder. Travel center in SLC assures me that the 75R will be safer than the 70R and the difference is slight from a 80R (Goodyear 75R is supposedly a direct swapout for the Michelin 80R. Comments????

Hey, Terrible Tim, it's tomorrow! Gives you time to polish your poem and squirt guns.

Greetings to all from Parksville, BC.

Finally got to Vancouver Island after spending 3 days in Vancouver. That city is too big with way too much traffic. Rush hour traffic starts at 6:00 AM and ends at 6:00 AM 24 hrs a day.

We're in a 5 Star RV Resort on the Ocean. Beautiful place (been here a few times before). Beachcombing is the order of the day today.
We're going to try to hook up for a Mini-c with Possum and Denise while on the Island.

Sounds like you are all having a great time as well. As always, we live vicariously through your posts. Keep the pics of activities flowing please.

Wayne, sorry to hear of your latest tow bar debacle. Sounds like you have it under control though.

Dogpatch out!

To all RVMs at Bryce:
All contributions to the Thursday night ceremonies are very welcome!
Songs, poems, and any other RVM-style cowboy and Western-theme stuff is great!

So, I called Blue Ox and obtained a tracking number for our "new" tow bar and accessories. I had asked for next day delivery. Everything was alright until it got to their shipping department. Shipping department sent it out FedEx Ground. I'll be credited back the entire amount of shipping costs. Of course, that is not much help when one is on the road. Fortunately it is supposed to be delivered (estimated) on Friday. Some transportation ohmms that it gets here "at least" by that date.

I told Earlene that with all the bad things happening, something good is going to happen.

Rant finished.

Plan B on the MH tire

After much pondering, I have decided to search for a Michelin tire of the exact same dimensions as what's on the MH now. Found one and will have an exact match installed in Renton, WA by end of the month. Only $1,090.15 (tire, freight from Denver, tax, balancing, installation). At least I will have piece of mind that weight is properly distributed at each corner of the coach.

Now - - - - ohms for us as we travel to Seattle from Bryce Canyon. We've traveled a mere 1,300 miles on a mismatched tire so far on our trip so what's another 1,100???
