Uneventful drive except for the unexpected invasion of the motorhomeless... I trust.

Les,

Thanks for the hospitality. Denise is so enamoured with Bonnie and thinks that Morgan is a wonderful young lady. Hopefully a 5er is in your near future.

Not6 sure who's likeness shines through but she is a little one you both can be very happy with. What a little beauty; congratulations.

We arrived at McCall RV Resort after a long drive today. Here are some pics along the way.

Yesterday we passed this mutant! I know, Dale was driving!

The Payette River on the way between Boise and McCall.

This one flew over our heads near Cascade ID.

Arrived in McCall and this guy was welcoming us.
And last - sunset in McCall!

We should have a easy drive tomorrow. The smoke isn't bad here today but pics from home still show lots of smoke.

BTW, The wifi works great. It's nice to be able to get back on the computer.

Great news! I'd have been very excited too!

Today, between Ogden and Boise I actually passed 4 vehicles (not counting vehicles entering on an on ramp). Speed limit was 80 BTW.
Notice the pic I posted.

We got in late so didn't have much time to look around. What we've seen is great. They even have some sites that are in a square where 2-4 RV's can share a common area facing each other. Our site is gravel but has a concrete patio. It is set up so that you come out of your RV onto the patio. Other sites are fully paved. The CG is located on the north fork of the Payette River and has a trail down to it. I will check that out tomorrow.

You'll probably have to do that yourself.

Steve, is there ANY kind of cuisine that you don't like?

Thanks for the ommmmms for my mom. She is so much better after my sister took her to the doc and they found out her blood pressure was way low. She takes 4 different blood pressure meds and I don't think she's ever taken them correctly. Anyway, the doc took her off one of them and gave her strict instructions not to change the way he told her to take the rest of them. We'll see ....

Bow went to Freightliner on August 10. They have not had her in a bay YET. I went over there this afternoon and very nicely told one of the managers that I am very concerned about my motorhome sitting out in the hot sun for the past 15 days. I asked him what the problem is with getting my coach in for a look. He said, "I know this isn't your problem, but we're 2 mechanics short and we're really backed up. We only have 2 Cummins certified mechanics." He promised me that they would get it in a bay this week and figure out where the oil is leaking. I'll believe it when I see it. Forget Palo Duro this weekend.

Hi Mel...
We're sending many Omms to mom and Bow... Things will work out.

As for food... I'm not a big fan of Ethiopian cuisine, but if I avoid the injera I'm hang.

We don't get out enough....it's not a requirement to be a full timer...the point is your viewpoint, Sam!
Haven't yet caught up from the lousy internet at Bryce, and was on the road and in the sky for awhile but now at Provo and playing ketchup....
Hope #1 or #2 saw your post and responded....if ya want in on the secret, read the first few pages of this thread, tell us what your RV doesn't have that ya don't miss, and that little bit about destinations and I'm sure you might just find a new family here....
