Well we made it home but not without adventure. We got about 40 miles from home and our pickup died right at a stop sign before turning onto highway 12 in Kamiah. We called a tow truck who took our truck back the way we came to our mechanic and he moved our travel trailer on someone's property so it's off the road. We called a friend to come get us and he delivered us to our house (which btw is still here).
I took some pics of all the smoke and stuff but left the cord for the phone in the trailer so will post those at another time. The smoke is so bad in town that it is hard to see and breathe. It is somewhat better here but not much. I've already got a bad headache. So what I've heard today was 50 homes were lost in Kamiah from one fire and 3 in Orofino from another fire. There are several fires that they are still working on. They have perimeters around some and are mopping up on some.
Anyway, our area could sure use some RAIN!!! Please send your request for rain our way. Steve, maybe you should consider moving this way sooner. LOL.

Glad you made it home safely, and sorry about the "adventure." Those fires are horrible; I hope you get rain soon.
Sitting here at the S&B enjoying everyone else's adventures.
Had the grandkids visit over the weekend so we took them in the MH out to O'Charley's for supper Saturday night.
Bought a new tilt trailer to haul the Mustang, now I have to get a brake controller and updated wiring plug installed next Tuesday, then off to Iowa to pick up the trailer. Finally a chance to spend more than one day in the MH somewhere...

Ok, this is my second attempt to send ya'll a message. Not sure what happened to the first but it was a real written piece of art. I said something about how great it was that your house was safe and I hated to hear about the truck problem. I added some real sappy lines about great to meet ya'll and I did mean them. I also said I hope we can meet up again and hope you can travel out our way. I added one last line about finding that cache at the State Park one more time in your honor and this time using a GPS! So if you get both messages you don't have to read both! Bye!

There is a post on the Entegra forum that isn't too favorable on McCall RV Resort. Maybe you can provide some color... or info.
We are all glad you're home sage and sound. It was great mutating with you. Next time you can break in a mutant or two. It's tough going but someone has to do it!
