I mean... "ants"... geesh. I have Terro for inside - and while I will take heat for this - Amdro for outside if needed. Bug spray, Wasp spray, etc. A leaf blower and a weed eater.... I would miss them!

The campground in Huntington, OR called Catfish Junction is down right cool. It would be a good location for a NW GC. Meets most of the criteria and has a boondocking riverside lot right next door (a class A was there when we were in the CG). Someone could go on a float trip down the Snake River looking for those elusive fishies.

We were only there one night. We didn't see any ants but they did notify us that we shouldn't leave any food out cuz of foxes.😀

BTW, every mutant needs to ride the following route: I15, I84, I82, and then I90 (chart it on an atlas). Scenery beyond description. However, you do need to hone your downshifting and upshifting skills. Our MH behaved just fine.

Steve, you missed the best part of I-84 -- the Columbia River gorge. I-84 follows the Columbia River for more than 100 miles. You can stop at rest areas along the route and watch wind surfers do acrobatics. There is also a train track on the north side of the river for the train buffs. But now might not be the best time because of the fires. I enjoy taking I-84 all the way to Portland and then I-5 north to Seattle.
