Dennis,

It's never easy, we have done it so many times with our fur kids too. At least you had the time to share with her and she had a wonderful life with you and Denise, you know she will never be far from your heart.

Be Well my Friend

Ohmms to Izzy from the boys. We know what you are going through too many times. Once again as our 14 year old is going downhill quickly.

Dennis,

Back when I had foster children with profound disabilities, I remember expressing anger about how another parent cared for her special child. My friend, who heard me spout those angry words, put things into perspective by saying, "Everyone is doing the best they can on any given day. Not all parents have the skills you have." She then told me of the gift that Joanne Woodward gave her husband Paul Newman on the morning of their son's funeral. It was an embroidered pillow with these words on the front --

We all know you loved Izzy and lavished her with great care. Please don't beat yourself up. I suspect she had "A destiny no human could change." Those are the words of another wise friend. Please remember the good times you had with Izzy and know that she loved you and is glad she's no longer in pain. Please don't should on yourself.

Yeah ... it's a typing error. No amount of "spin" can justify it.

Pyramid Lake. A pretty place in tall, rolling hills, with a visitor center that is superb, and a marina for boating, fishing and for boondockers to replenish their supplies and empty the tanks.

It's the least I can do for a someonr trapped by wind and blowing dust.

On Antelope Island the salt dust from the flats around the lake were dusting up yesterday.

The lake is so salty it only supports brine shrimp, brine flies, plankton, and alge. But that's enough to make the lake a bird haven. Migratory birds of all kinds stage, nest, feed, and hang out there.

So fly on down and hang out here... beef, it's what's for dinner...

And your state, too, since I seem to have lost track. We need a pin map on the wall!
