We are close to celebrating our 20th year together and 3rd "legally". We've had a great 20 years and hope for many more! Let me just say that Kate is very patient and longsuffering...kinda like Earlene. ;-)

Our 23rd was the 8th. Martin had his last wisdom tooth removed in the morning (wisecracks galore on that!), and I went to a spinners & weavers guild meeting in the evening. In between, we had a crockpot dinner and agreed to celebrate properly on another day. 😎
He was too wise as it was!
And Happy Belated Anniversary kids!

Annie got to wish Dwayne and Shara safe travels this morning. I was in the shower and just missed them. Drat, those early risers. First day since we arrived that our picnic table wasn't soaking wet. I knew Dwayne was pouring water on it, but he wouldn't admit it lol.

Things to do. Places to go. Things to see. It's rainbow riding time in Utah!

Maybe you can have a mini with Herb and Barb...

My brother has tickets to see Joe, but we're passing this time.

Anyhow, if'n any Mutants come through Lubbock, let us know. We'll take you to see some of those places on my list. Summer or early fall is best. Winter is no fun (cold and dry) and the winds can be fierce in the spring, when all the farmers trade land. (The wind carries a heckuva lot of dust with it in the spring.) But, you may be too late .... I'm having back to back knee surgeries starting Sept. 23 (second one possibly 10 weeks later). And we will likely hit the road sometime in March. Can you hear us singing "Hallelujah!"?

Oh, and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, WAYNE AND EARLENE!!!
Mel, I've forgotten, are you getting them replaced this time or just a patch up job?

Well, Mel... if it's a replacement... I know 2 folks who chose to use their RV's for their rehab unit...LOL! ( Actually, my sister had both done at the same time and spent a couple weeks at a rehab facility then went to her camper to recuperate. Barb skipped the intensive Rehab unit and went directly to the MOHO due to Sena. both look to have had good results... you might try that! ( but ya do gotta keep them knees moving!)

Replaced. The patch jobs on the right knee really escalated the arthritis in that knee. Left one is bone on bone, cartledge gone. With new knees, tho, I can hike all over the Grand Tetons and Glacier. Yay!
