That Sr is a black bear no hump on his back and snout is to long. But real cool to see.

Oh, yes, cherish every moment! It does go so quickly. There's just nothing like a puppy to bring joy into your life. They can't help it. They ooze joy and unconditional love. Ellie is so lucky to have to mommies who return her unconditional love.

Please do make it out here - Virginia would be a great place for a curiosity!

Yes, still baking and schooling. Almost finished with the schooling. Dissertation and defense, then cap and gown. I'm too old for this!
Kate said to just go in to your defense and say, "Really?"

Woot, woot!!

For sure. You have to smack down the panel right away. Show 'em who is in control. How about "Now that's the stupidest question I ever heard" ? LOL

I didn't really say that, but sure felt like it.

Cantelopues are 3 for a dollar and melon stands are everywhere.

We will be motoring east today into Colorado. Wineries and peach trees are next. Belinies may be in order. Mmm.

Mmmm, peach bellinis! I'll be right there!

Our continuing saga

Parked along US 101 at Yanks RV Resort. Really a nice place.

Took the back road over to and back from Monterey, Carmel, Pebble Beach, and Big Sur. We were disappointed with Big Sur. All of the viewing areas everyone talks about must be inside the state park and at the end of a 1/2 mile trail because nothing was visible from CA 1 except the normal beautiful coastlines strewn with rocks. No large waves beating the sand and rocky cliffs.

Here's some pics Mary Ann took. Enjoy = = = = =cloudy, overcast, and foggy. Loan cypress, seal rock, turbulent waves on the shore
