Amazing what natural instinct these dogs have! Walking down to mailbox the other day this 7 week old pup was already pacing back and forth behind Mary and I! Should be a lot of help moving the cows as she's much faster than Mary and minds better too!
I hope Roxie's doghouse is big enough for you, too.

There's a mini-series in this .... (Can I help write the screenplay?)
Call the networks.

?????

He goes off, and returns with paperwork, while my nerves mark time jangling. Well yes, by golly, we do have an appointment, what a surprise!

I get in a half mile walk while Martin & the tech go through the list, then he has to go in & verify the insurance.

I'll knit while I wait, I think, and that's when I discover that in the morning's rush I've ripped a piece of knitting off the needle.

TBC.
Yep. Definitely a mini-series. Brad will likely star as Martin and Angelina as Sue. The tech will, of course, be played by Wayne. The film will be produced by Dave and Nola and directed by Sena. Potentate and I will write the screenplay.

Auditions for other parts (minor roles) will be held in Les's new 5er. Tim will provide all plane tickets for those wishing to audition, seeing how he is rolling in green stuff. (Tim is Chief Financial Officer for the production, and has already informed us that everyone gets a 25% raise before shooting starts in October.)

Ok, Marty, you get a part. There'll be a scene with you knitting and Sue gourding. You'll be discussing puppies.

Am not. You're just green with envy, Di, because Sue didn't pick you to write the screenplay. But, since I have some influence, I might be able to get you a bit part. Did I say that? I meant I can get LitaBit a part.

If you think I'm on a roll now, just wait till I come home with all those pain meds.

Lots to do at our new location. "Coach" will get some work completed next Tuesday. 2 new coach batteries, oil, lube, and filters, brake exam, drawer looksee, exam on our mh/toad light connections (that worked perfectly at Roadmaster factory 2 weeks ago), repair TV antenna.

We will store the MH in this location starting on September 28 and then head for Indiana in the toad.

In the meantime, we will eat at nice restaurants more, visit more casinos, and reacquaint ourselves with this beautiful location.

Update on Bow's genny oil leak....

I spoke to the service manager at Cummins in Amarillo. First, he apologized for the two weekends of camping we had to give up. I told him that I hoped the mechanic who did the work on our coach got into trouble, and he said, "He's in a 30 day probation period. If he doesn't improve, he's gone." I told him that was a good plan. Then he told me he was going to call a shop in Lubbock and tell them to fix the genny oil leak for us.

I appreciate his apology and his willingness to get our genny fixed. I wish he could give us back those two weekends of camping we missed. Kate had both those weekends off (a real rarity). But I also empathize with him in that he has a dolt of a mechanic that he is trying to get rid of. That involves a trail of documented mistakes. Lucky us, huh?

So, Amarillo Cummins will be on my "good list" after incompetent mechanic is fired.

For you diesel engine savvy guys, here's what Lubbock Truck Sales found wrong with the engine after the Cummins repair: Fuel injection pump was leaking at the mounting o-ring. Mounting studs and nuts were missing. You wonder how the mechanic who did that ever got his certification.

Who knows what they'll find when they dig into the generator.

So the rest of us commoners get "bit parts"? Where is the "cast of thousands" that distinguished epic films of days gone by?

You and I could fill those "cast of thousands" parts all by ourselves.

No, guys. It's not that kind of film. It's more an ensemble piece. In fact, Sue and I have decided to make it a feature-length picture for wide release, rather than a made for television mini-series.

But you two could run a canteen and make a killing off selling burgers, gummi worms, sushi, tamales, snow cones and such to cast and crew.
