I haven't even taken the first pain pill. Promise. But I was watching the PBS special on Walt Disney last night. And I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express ....
G'night, Muties.

I'm holding out for at least a walk-on part. Contract amount is negotiable. Also, I want my name to be in the scrolling credits ... large letters. Somewhere before the animal handler's name.

It would be a mistake to not get our names on the advertisements as a box office draw.

Am not. You're just green with envy, Di, because Sue didn't pick you to write the screenplay. But, since I have some influence, I might be able to get you a bit part. Did I say that? I meant I can get LitaBit a part.
If you think I'm on a roll now, just wait till I come home with all those pain meds.

Can you imagine the gibberish If I wrote it... Even a suttherner couldnt understan it. But I was student director in high school speech class peoduction.... I am a better bosser than follower..... And yes my eyes are green,

Well, it's like Di said ...
We can't put your name in the credits because as far as we know, you don't have a name. We're wondering if you really are up there on the moon, just roving around.
Let us know when you decide to come back down to earth and get a real name. We'll give you credit for something then.

You crack me up lol.
I'm not sure about Tim holding the $. He might have a moment of weakness and invest it in fences...

Well, we were thinking of Brad and Angelina, but you've given us something to think about. Although, it would be highly irregular to have the CFO play a leading role. And I'm not sure Mary would put up with Tim in a dramatic role. She's so used to him in comedy.
I don't know, though. Maybe ....
Sue, whaddya think?

I spoke to the service manager at Cummins in Amarillo. First, he apologized for the two weekends of camping we had to give up. I told him that I hoped the mechanic who did the work on our coach got into trouble, and he said, "He's in a 30 day probation period. If he doesn't improve, he's gone." I told him that was a good plan. Then he told me he was going to call a shop in Lubbock and tell them to fix the genny oil leak for us.
I appreciate his apology and his willingness to get our genny fixed. I wish he could give us back those two weekends of camping we missed. Kate had both those weekends off (a real rarity). But I also empathize with him in that he has a dolt of a mechanic that he is trying to get rid of. That involves a trail of documented mistakes. Lucky us, huh?
So, Amarillo Cummins will be on my "good list" after incompetent mechanic is fired.
For you diesel engine savvy guys, here's what Lubbock Truck Sales found wrong with the engine after the Cummins repair: Fuel injection pump was leaking at the mounting o-ring. Mounting studs and nuts were missing. You wonder how the mechanic who did that ever got his certification.
Who knows what they'll find when they dig into the generator.
|
Hard to take incompetence. Sad indeed. That's know way to treat a Certified Rainbow Rider.
