Bike rally pics??? Been expecting them...
The following pic's are from a yearly benefit ride for a lady who passed way too early from cancer. The line of bike's stretched 7 miles with Police escort. We all got to ride down a part of the Boardwalk, which was a blast!

Also a picture of Rhett the Wonder Bird on his new perch. It fits tightly in the shower and he rides safe and sound.

Wondering if Rhett has learned to say 'Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn!'

Very nice! Hopefully we'll catch you next fall when we're on the east coast. It's going to be extremely hard to resist being in Colorado again after our adventure with Jeff and Marcia yesterday. Geesh... so much to see here. Easy to see why Jim and Ginny hang here so often!

Take care!

No open weekends until November, but I might just go out on a Thursday afternoon until Friday or early Saturday next week. Bright side... Critter care business booming and at least I'm making money...Although, I may have to start saying no to folks and save a weekend per month during the 'season'... as I seem to have allowed all my weekends to get full during camping 'season' around here. Part of it this year has also been that it was just so wet and rainy during spring, when I did have a weekend, it was raining.

Yes... But you'll always have Bryce, Bob flying, Provo, and a wedding.... so any more journeys, short or long are a bonus.

Given how busy you two stay and the kids and grands and... not too shabby at all. Add Rockport - the FEGC@CL and when you adopted Honey...

I may go to MA again during the fall. If the opportunity strikes, perhaps another state nearby. Come November, that bus is heading south!!!

No travel for this bird. Locked into a whirlwind of doc appts, and tests. Maybe next Spring, the dust will have settled enough to allow for a two month jaunt. The reoccurring quarterly CT scan schedule will persist for a year or more.

Best I can do for a while is go outside to sit in the bus driver's seat and pretend while pushing buttons and making "varoom" simulated engine sounds.

Thought I might share my serpentine belt replacement job that I did today.
We bought this 2001 a short time ago and I've been nagged by the squeaky belt, so today was the day!
Pulled to old one off in short order, found that by using a 3/8 socket wrench and a 3/4" pipe I could release the tensioner. I took pictures as best I could. (I never read directions)
They were useless when I went to put new one on. Saw a post in the forum showing the belt route and the fun began! The new belt was much tighter (shorter) then the worn out one and proved to be a beast to keep in place alone. There is little to no room to work or see, so much is by feel. I did take the dog house off to get the top pully's routed. Wow...I only gave a few drops of blood on this project! The good news is...it's quiet! I could hardly hear my engine at startup before...now I can hear the lifters pump up! One less worry for me when we go for the long trips planed next spring. I still have to purchase hood pins (like they use on race cars) to get my front hood to close properly, the dealer busted the hinges and let the door hang which warped the door. I don't trust the cam locks as they are already bent from the stress. I've read that many owners of this model drown their engines by sucking water into the intake.

I hope everyone is having an awesome day...I'm kicked back in the recliner, having an adult beverage...from Colorado...
Cruise it or lose it...
