Just an update of what's happening here in Colorado,
1st we have been having great fun and fantastic meals with the Potentate and his bride Sweet Annie.
2nd we had to suspend the fun and frivolity on Tues the 29th of September because I found my parking brake pads had disintegrated and were not holding the coach as they are supposed to, not only that there was a fluid leak on both sides of the rear axle.
3rd the parts are ordered and on the way, but waiting for them in a repair lot hooked up to a 20amp extension cord is no fun.
4th there is always some of this no fun stuff when you ride the Rainbow, you take the good with the bad and suck it up and carry on. The bill so far, for just parts and shipping is a mere $2400.00 isn't life Grand.
5th always remember when you have an orphan coach and an orphan chassis there will be bumps in the road, it is what it is and that's just the way it is, deal with it.
6th I can hardly wait to get back to Montrose and take another sightseeing tour

Cheers !!!!
Sorry for your bumps in the road. We've had our share the last 2 years to the tune of 10k. Still cheaper than a new coach eh? The ride is all worth it and these are only speed bumps😁😁.
Hi guys, hope to see you this winter!

Wow... I was way behind the curve on 126...... lol...

Jeff - it's been difficult for me not to post something about missing you guys... Ya know we've been sending Easy repair ommms.

Will call ya on the morning about meeting at Cedaredge (or perhaps Delta) for Apple Fest. The neighbors here - Bob and Fran think they'll have both 66 Mustangs in the car show. They were having the straight pipes modified on the red one - adding some glass packs - to get get legal today. Hopefully the shop finished the welding job...

Anyway - miss you guys.

Hi there, doubt you remember me but I bet you remember our big white deaf great dane! Ok so I found you all here and need to come up with the magic words to be invited in. What do I miss? Floor space! Not much left after the dogs stretch out but I really don 't miss it too much ;o) And yes the journey is the destination for sure.

Dave... the place we're staying isn't a GC location. We haven't really looked for one. There are some state parks nearby but my memory says they wouldn't work for those of us full hookup 50 amp required mutants - but some others could find them just right.

Gunnison is just down the road - and Jim and Ginny have the best handle of that. Montrose is a really nice base for day drives and super sites. 60 miles or so to Telluride - same to Gunnison, running the Grand Mesa loop (look that one up - it's sort of bucket list worthy one of a kind trip to me.

Will give it some thought...

Hey Linda! Hi and welcome... I remember you. I had the Honey and the Border Collie who is REALLY friendly, but she might have barked at your 3. We were at the other end of the row in the Provo park you found the mutants in...( and I have the blue streak in my hair....)
