That worked, but when i stepped forward again my size 12 shoe caught that extra step and I stumbled forward, like about 6 big giant steps trying to stay upright. Not to happen. Fell face first, in the grass thank you Lord, with the receiver between me and the ground. The roundness part cushioned the fall but the nose had a little residue of grass on it. The worse thing was the muscle I pulled on the back of the leg. it was worse than a charlie horse.
I wonder what next year will bring.

I may have to find me a new dance partner for those man strolls we do. Can't have you falling on me, my bad back won't catch us both!
Seriously, slow down, you scare us enough with your stories don't need you layed up.

Steve and Annie - - - some time in November single game tickets will become available for the Arizona Coyotes (NHL). Mary Ann and I always make a point of attending the Detroit Red Wings game. This year it's January 14th over in Glendale (west side of Phoenix).
We usually go to the arena area about 2:00 in the afternoon. Walk around the mall, enjoy the dancing waters fountain, and catch a bite of dinner before the game which starts at 7 or 7:30. Think about joining us. I would look for aisle level tickets in the handicapped area (where you can park your jazzy). Cost would be 80-100 per ticket. Give it some thought. I'll be in touch when ready to make the reservations.

Wayne, you need to install an escalator on your coach. No more falls, Dude!
(Hope you're feeling better.)

We never did get to Zion and we leave Monday... guess we will see it when we come back. Our house hunting went well, but we know we can't retire here. It was over 100 when we were here back in early August. No way. But it is a beautiful night tonight. The moon has a faint halo. And this place is packed.

None at all. The grass was soft and the part of my body that fell on it was soft.

Long as I end up on top. Wouldn't want that beard dangling down on me.

Yep! Flu shot got to me a few days after getting in. First time in many years of getting it that I had a reaction. Hmmm! Escalator! Novel idea. Problem is i would probably be trying to go up when it was going down.

Today was a mini-C in Galveston. Jeannie and Dave came to the house, then the four of us went to Galveston and met Bob and Stephanie for lunch. This weekend is Oktoberfest in Galveston. Dave and I had a pretty beg stein of beer and all of us had Brats & Sausage with fixin's. We sat around and Bob and Steph told lies and we all listened to the to loud bass of the ohm pa pa. After a few hours of that four of us left Bob and Steph and headed back to our S&B. There, Jeannie and Dave told lies. Earlene and I had a nice time .
Unfortunately my selfie techniques are not up to par with today's selfie crowd so I can only post one of the pictures I took. Earlene, Jeannie and Dave took pictures also and maybe they had better luck.
Here is the important one though: (The purple cabbage is missing)

I will ponder... and speak to the Boss. Lol. We aren't big sports fans but it is always nice to have a day at the ball park and couple of $12 beers.
I remember going to see both the Angels and Dodgers as a kid with my grandfather. It was pure inspiration. He took me to Hollywood Park to see the ponies and trotters... He loved the track!
