Careful, Carl. As Wayne scoops, it may be tater, tater, bird, tater.

Carl, do you know of a simple stop over place in MA? Space and water/electric should do.
Thanks for the offer to help, Bro

R U an RV Mutant
Hey all...
Love seeing the planning for the August trip.....
Any idea how much time following the GC you are planning in Canada?
The w***k aspect will be different for me in 2016 and may make this trip difficult.
Should know more this week with a little luck.

Steve and I launched a trial balloon. Where will it set down?
It's pretty open, Ed. Conversations yet to happen

I've only stayed in one place in MA, Normandy Farms. Huge place, reservations are advised. I liked it there, spent a week doing the day job and the place is nice. Might not be convenient depending on your path to ME.
In general I find camping in the NE states challenging during the summer due to so many folks going and getting a spot without weeks advanced notice is tough. It was pretty much a non-starter for me last summer.

When Denise and I were in the New England states a couple of years ago I was more than happy we were in a short C class. Lots of times when asked how big we were we got accepted immediately because we were so small. One place let us use the guest parking lot free because they had no room and it was the lady at the desk who made the offer. If the bankbook would allow it we would return in a blink of an eye. It is so beautiful in that area we were left wanting more.

My gut tells me that many may not have been there, and some never got past Portland. So, this would be a fine intro to TRM (The Real Maine). After the GC some will move further on into the Maritimes to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. I know I will.
Proposed plan:
When: August 15-21 2016
Where: Timberland Acres RV Park, Trenton. Much cheaper and quieter than Bah Hawbah camps. Just a beautiful 14 mile drive from Bar Harbor, Acadia Park, Schoodic Point, grand drives to coves and islands, Lobstah and blueberries.

The Annual Machias Blueberry Festival will be Aug 19-20.

Before the GC, maybe we should gather at a central launch point? I have some candidate parks in NY State. But may youse folks know better places.
Hey Carl, can you lend your expertise? Perhaps others know stuff and we can share a round table time in Tucson?

I have a cabin up in Maine. On horn pond. We might be up that way. I got some bad news on my birthday. What a day to hear bad news. But I might need to be up there maybe as soon as next month.

On a more pleasant note... A Canadian playing the Mutant theme song on a mouth organ. Way too cool...

Again thanks for taking the time now, even with the AZ planning in process, to plan for this trip! We are so looking forward to making the M&M GC.
