[QUOTE=Papawto5;2837105". Fellow mutants should not be shy in joining in the festivities at these gatherings because the newbies are welcomed with open arms.

Can't wait.[/QUOTE]

Are you suggesting that we NOT put them thru the grueling initiation ritual and newbie hazing? aw shucks, Steve -- where's the fun in that??? I need to go pout now.

Fear not, Sister!
There are certain RVM rituals that are sacrosanct.

Beautiful morning in Bullhead City!
Going to throw in the towel today and see a doctor about this sinus thing I have going on.

Hope to see Oatman today and the Golden Nugget this evening before heading to Wickenburg tomorrow.

It's tough getting old, but then, think of the alternative.

Plan to make the M&MGC and see how big my pot is!

Ha I saw the dig you gave Di for wanting to get back to this Land of Opportunity! I was just in my deer stand using my phone and it was too cold to have my gloves off for long!

Think that's tough, try chasing a 2yo and a 5yo! Tomorrow the 5yo gets to go hunting with me. maybe his constant chatter will attract a curious buck!

Did Sue and I ever tell of the truly weird experience we had in the hills above Laughlin a few years back?

We had been camping at Needles for a week or so and one evening decided to drive up to a lookout place near Davis Dam. Up there we came across a group of people setting up fancy telescopes and TV monitors. We got talking to them and it turned out they were on a field trip associated with the UFO convention going on in Laughlin. It was difficult not to like them - they were so wrapped up on their beliefs in UFOs, it was almost like a cult. I mentioned that Sue and I sometimes sit out on our deck just after sunset and watch satellites go by: on one occasion seeing three in "formation". Oh no, they said that would have been a battle going on.

They claimed their viewing equipment was military grade stuff and they invited us to stay a while and join in their viewing and discussions. We decided to go back to Needles and I do still wonder whether or not we missed a life changing experience.
