Hi Martin!
|
No pic...we just tucked in. Sorry!
NZ lamb is so sweet and flavorsome! Gravy was a reduced stock finished with a butter swirl (so fancy, eh?) and rich! That uncooked relish (3 ingredients only!) was perfect with it; I even skipped my usual mint jelly.
And how about them Bears?!!
Hi Annie!

Dang Steve! Doesn't your EMS (Energy Manangement System) work? I have stayed many a time with only 30 amp and both compressors worked fine.

Well Wayne - you and that guy would have gotten along just fine then. You could have reserved and paid for a 50 amp space over a month ago, been given 30 amp site and been happy as a clam.
What I don't get is why they gave my 50 amp site away and left me with the 30 amp space. I guess the guy they gave it to wasn't buying the 30 amp argument any more that I was.
As for you staying on 30 amp, I bet you have some great stories about sitting around the campfire, wagons circled, horses bedded down for the night, as the smell of fresh cow pies mingled with fumes of the kerosene lamps while the cattle were lowing.
After spending 385 or so consecutive days in our little Bounder home - I take no gruff from nobody... lol

Good Morning Mutants!
It's Black Friday, get out there shopping!!!
Not that you'd catch me leaving the house today, but I thought I'd use that to awaken this sleeping thread...

Woot!
Black Friday is for folks that will buy some of what they want or need, and a lot of what was simply -- ----!
Gifts that come from the heart used to be purchased on Christmas Eve. But now we just buy new experiences!

I have a question for all of you seasoned Arizona snowbirds -- I've heard about the damage pack rats can do and that encircling your RV with rope lights can keep the critters away. We are parked in a backyard that in no way resembles a desert environment. Should I still surround us with ropeous lightus?
Also should I be concerned with critters getting up inside the house part of my moho? I had a chipmunk invasion 2 years ago in Washington state. They built a nest in my undies drawer -- it wasn't any fun. Since then I have put copper mesh around the ports where the power and sewer lines enter. I haven't had any unwanted house guests.

Ask if they've had any critter problems in their sheds or garage. Anyway a single string of led rope lights run underneath your unit hooked to a timer is cheap insurance and uses almost no electricity.

Too funny! Actually, under the bridge I have 50 amp on demand. Generator on - viola - 50 amp. Which is kind of my point. 100 gallons of water, 50 amps on genni, under the bridge and free. Lol.

Hey! My doctor told me a couple of weeks ago that I must avoid bacon. I was so shocked and bummed I couldn't talk about it.
My new doctor hasn't said that yet.

Some "Critter" chewed into power steering line & the Teck said to spread a few "Mothballs" under RV... I also got a few of those "Hangy" kind to drape around engine...
Dont know if it is a good fix, but I tried it, but they need to be replaced quite often...
Hope you get some good ideas from the RVM brains...

Ironically, a fellow in the middle of a housing development mentioned pack rats yesterday. Got in a wall. Chewed some wires and the outlet for his Q rotisserie was dead!
I would at least ask some neighbors near you, Sis.
Ropeous lightus in the desert for me. Had one start to make a nest by the battery on Red when we were at Lost Dutchman SP. Chewed a wire for my dome light and had chunks of cactus stacked up. Sheesh!

You were smart to change doctors.
Only a quack would try to stop you from enjoying medicinal bacon.
