For those who care and for those like me who don't know the difference! I erroneously reported on this thread that Mary's quilt was done on a long arm machine. It was actually done on a new sewing machine with a extended base. There now all is right in the world!

Gees!

Wayne,

WOW . . . I never knew that about you. It just goes to prove how much a person can accomplish when HOME SCHOOLED!!

This seems to be an appropriate time for a shout out to our beloved brethren that helped in many ways to protect and preserve our freedom.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Brothers AND sisters for your service to our great nations. (U.S. and Canada)

Great quilt, Denise! Fun colors, sense of depth, and what a border! Love those stripes.

I'm really looking forward to meeting you both! Trains and quilting -- we won't have a thing to yack about, will we? Guess we'll just have to eat. Can't talk with yer mouth full, can ya?

That's weird! All the screen shows is "Wayne," in purple. When I quote it to answer, the rest of your message comes up. Weird!

The back yard gym set was fun. Even had a teeter-toter.

I've pondered on it before, never knew someone well enough to ask,
but my ponder is, what is the difference between those fellas who came out of nam and seemed to be able to go on in life more conventional than those who came back and seemingly crashed... couldn't deal with life, and just pretty much exist, or end it. Probably, a much too deep of a ponder to be voicing publicly, but well, there it is.

Sorry for such dark ponders in what is supposed to be a holiday time, but my mind runs that way, and I desire understanding, and wish for a way to help.

Marty my guess is who they ask for help. Or if they ask for help at all. Times have certainly changed since those guys came home and asking for help in a often times debated diagnosis was not often done. Others had no spiritual training or upbringing that resulted on a no where to turn condition.

Ok up date they still know nothing. Shara is still in a lot of pain. And they postponed the colonoscopy again. First it was to happen last night then this morning now tomorrow. The nurse last night was a tool came in and said I come in every 2 hours so don't buzz that buzzer unless it is an emergency I will not come.
