The news just reported 4 dead near Dallas, TX (Garland, TX close to Richardson where Herb and Barb park sometimes)

Freaky weather. Stay safe everyone.

A friend of ours is in a rv park. In that area and the tornado hit the park. They are ok. My prayers are heading to TX

That's my biggest fear, getting nailed by a storm.

Down to North Carolina, already warmer than the north.

Agreed! We say we have wheels, but there's still that tendency to stay put if we're in a paid spot, even faced with a lousy weather forecast.

You're up early ... or just can't sleep? (The internet seems to be Martin's answer to insomnia.) It's just too exciting to be on the road again! Are the birds happy too, or at least adjusting well to the change?

Be safe, be glad, be warm. Happy trails! (You know I'm jealous. We still have several days work ahead of us.)

Not up early, up all night driving! On my way to FL

Birds are fine, they've grown accustomed to the ride in the car. Just takes too long especially when traffic stinks.

Ok back on the road...

Cal-Am Resorts Home -
I like the amenities but they could prove dangerous to me.

Happy Hours
Hiking Club
Hiking Club

Father in law almost bought a place like that in Laughlin last year. I was disappointed when he backed out. It had 2 full 50A hookups.

They have hiking? LOL...
They had me at Happy Hour. Oh, and wings at the 19th Hole.
Just looking. I do like the idea / concept. But still searching for a location. Haven't seen enough to have a clue as to where yet.

We are cozy and warm in our garden home, watching the snow storm swirl around us. Winds are 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. Its supposed to keep snowing and blowing through tomorrow morning.

Di & Larry, we picked up the bikes yesterday afternoon. Theyre out of the weather in the garage. Thank you so very much. We anticipate enjoying them on our big trip!

The silent one sends her heartfelt thanks to Di & Larry and a a happy New Year (early) to everyone. We will both be at the hospital on New Year's Eve and Day for my tkr and I doubt seriously that I'll be posting.
