Dennis!!! Tucson is Feb 1-8. You need to get Gracie on the road if you plan to join us. In April we'll be at Dead Horse State Park welcoming Mel and Kate to full time Rainbow riding.

Tim.... got your PM. We are getting a little rain this morning as Papaw Steve brought it with him... and it's our day to move to Apache Junction. We have everything stowed away except 2 chairs, electric and water. Still need to hook up CR-V Mutant.

I plan to pull out the map and dig into the route to PEI - the first leg of the FEM&MGC in AJ.

I think we may make an early Main arrival and spend some time at or near Acadia National Park. And go north into Canada from there. But that's just speculation at the moment.

So your next grand is due in June? And you are hosting through???

Quite times today. Offline for the final smash and stash and on the road estimated 1 hour and 15 minutes. Maybe longer. Can't remember if we need fuel or not lol. If so... a little longer. And now of course the rain is picking up lol.

Barb, you of course are right again. We hope to be outta here by weeks end. Can't leave before Wednesday because of the infernal doctor appointment that can't be changed. See you in a week or so. Because of ferries and Customs I only plan to get about 150 miles in the first day. Then every other day will be a minimum of 350 miles.
So likely stops will be in the vicinity of
Puyallup WA Jan 25
Canyonville OR Jan 26
Sacramento CA Jan 27
Castaic CA Jan 28
Yuma AZ Jan 29
Casa Grande AZ - Jan 30
Tucson AZ - Jan 31
The dates shown are latest acceptable dates to show up so these will vary if we get away earlier or things go way too well.
Homeward trip still to be planned. Trying to work in the Mel and Kate party in April so my post may have been a Freudian slip.

BTW we can be reached at 716-810-3203 while on the road. We will return any phone calls once we have wifi hookup each day.

Same thing happened to me Saturday morning when I wanted to leave FL to come back up to the cold. Of course I wasn't packing up an RV, just the car, still causes delays in departing...

Also learned to never travel north on a holiday weekend that has bowl games, there was a traffic jam from Orlando to South Carolina. It didn't clear up till 2 am...I know cuz I was still driving...

I told them that the awning was functional the way it is so re-order. Citrus is schedule to go into Freightliner on the 20th. I heard a sound when I took it to the RV place and it sounded like a front wheel bearing rub on the passenger side. Getting it checked out just to be safe. Hopefully we will be on the road on the 25th of January.

Gas at the stations here is $1.54 cash and $1.59 CC. Diesel is going for $1.82 at Sam's Club.

That is a very nice campground.

First, Welcome Vince and Pat. Second, my appreciation to those promoting my theme song. It is so nice to be loved AND, I am the shy, sane lovable one in this mutated organization ....er group.

Vince and Pat, I sent you an email by the other carrier pigeon means and it suggests that you ask me for my theme song. It has been awhile since anyone has asked so it is time to refresh everyone's repertoire. They will most likely not be able to resist at the next gathering and sing it for us all to enjoy.

So, just answer the email and I'll respond in kind.

Where are you at right now Wayne?

Grand #5 due June 16, we are at state park till July 6th. They wanted us through July 18 but we've decided that was cutting it too close to slow roll on our trip. We kind of like short hops (now 1hr 15 min might be a little short ) but we are flexible!

Drive safe!

Steve, when you catch your breath, and have a few minutes, could you update the RVMutants.com page with future Big gatherings so we don't have to keep sorting back through here to figure it out again... Trying to remember when the great Northeast happenings will occur... and when in April the Dead horse gathering will be....
