Fear not... it came up as something to be added to the Mutant Lexicon... We won't bog this down... but hey, if it will get you to come down to Tucson, we can keep taking about it.

The news here is saying the rain here is due to El Steveo... I think they meant El Papaw Steveo.

Flagstaff is getting more snow.

Yum! I'll second that! What can I bring? Orange Juice? More eggs? I have a portable induction cooktop.

I have one "First Up" in the basement and if I can borrow another from the Youth Centre I can bring two and maybe three. I will have to practice my knots and lash them to the roof rack of "David" our white Suzuki. I will have the portable bonfire and a couple of tanks along too. I will bring as many tables as I can stow under Gracie. I can also cook up pancakes if any are interested. ONLY Twenty Five days to wait.

Medical Report.... The doctor did a couple of X-Rays and an Ultrasound and he tells me I don't have a rotator cuff issue. I have a something-or-other, something-or-other, bursitis issue and he claims the pills he gave me and exercise will fix the issue. Oh and also some very expensive pain killers. I am to schedule an appointment with him when i return so he can assess the situation again.

RV Service

Since a good number of Mutants will soon be in Tucson, thought I would share some info about the RV repair shop I’ve used since 2010 (our arrival to the north side of Tucson). Recommend “Fisher RV Repair” and owner Jeff Fisher. Location is 4451 S. Country Club Road, Tucson and at 520-780-8615. This is not a La Mesa/Freedom/Lazy Days, small yard, always over crowed, but with many years of experience in RV repair, Jeff knows his stuff on RV “systems” and normal maintenance of chassis and engines. He is not authorized shop for CAT, Cummins, Freightliner, etc. but if you are off manufacturer’s warranty, you may enjoy his labor rate of $80/hour, rather than the $120 plus found elsewhere in Tucson. On previous DP, we had a “Wholesale Warranties” extended warranty—Fisher RV met their requirements for repair services. I recently used him for a CAT diesel engine value adjustment (a 40,000 mile event). Over the years, used for slide cover replacement, awning replacement, refrigerator replacement, oil/lube, MCD shade repair, generator repair and service, installation of solar panels/system, minor body work and paint job, and too many normal small issues to mention (I am not a mechanically inclined Mutant). Although not a major portion of his business, he will come to you for $50 local travel fee. The only problem I’ve experienced is getting scheduled in his shop. I’ve not been able to talk Jeff into an expansion of his entrepreneurial interest with a larger shop and a dozen employees. Anything major that needs “fixing” right now—may require a drive over to Lazy Days, etc.

Great tip, Vince. I'm starting a notebook forthwith, and that'll be #1 in the positive column.

In the negative column, there'll be the Holiday World service place in Katy, TX. They overcharged us for an oil change ... a lot! ... among other things. This was a few years ago, mind, and things may have changed, but we won't be testing them.

Now, where in blazes am I going to put this new notebook??? Oh I know: in the computer! "The Paperless Society", so-called.

Cheers!
