Sue, I've decided to come as myself as I can't find a reasonably priced "AlKabonger"

Of course with my nose I could just get a holster and pistol and come as Qweeks Draw

Thanks! I'm working on it.

Discovered the kefir packet did not get picked up, so have none of that yet. 😡 Maybe we can find a health food store on the Island that carries it.

Di, do you have any for starter?

Ommms working... may I share? Who besides Shara needs them? Ann? Annie?

Cheers!

Need to at least get some store bought keifer.

If the lymph nodes do their job and that pain goes, and my poor abused vocal cords recover, I'll be 2/3 better already. (Croak)

I just hope we didn't give any of this to Wayne or Earlene! At the time I didn't even think about being contagious. Now I'm scared to bits! Friends don't let friends share germs!

Tomorrow we find out if the Jeep fix actually fixed the Jeep or not. Then we think about having the towing brake system changed out and find out whether there is time. Martin will be much less depressed when he gets his car back. I'll be less depressed when I know we can get to Tucson on time!

Tonight I'm not depressed. We have friends, we have each other, we have...uh oh: rain in the forecast! C'n I go be depressed now? (No, I'm not!)

Night all. Sleep well. Thanks again for well wishes and good, good ommms.
Oh dear, Sue! I somehow missed that you are ill. Well, you know the ommmms are rolling in for you from two Mutants in the Texas Panhandle South Plains! Hope you make it to Tucson on time and feeling much, much better - WELL, in fact!

What a find! Maybe we can make a stop there in late March on our way to Dead Horse. It's just the kind of thing we enjoy visiting.

So, Di, would y'all recommend a visit to Joshua Tree? Where do you camp there? In the Nat'l Park or at a private park outside it?

Man, I wish we had time to loop up your way! It doesn't look far on the map, but I'm not deceived!

Thanks for the ommms, and of course fresh ones are going out for you and your recovery.

We are, in fact, both feeling better today. Yesterday was the pits, so today can't help but be better. 😁

Cheers!

Enjoyed it.... But compared to other NP, about a 5 on 1-10 scale.
There is Camping here, but we were staying in Palm Springs.... Had some free nights with Thousand Trails from buying rv, nice park, but not sure it is worth the $$$ if had to pay for it....

This us a Joshua tree, also called a Dr, Seus tree

Next boondocking in Quartzite......

Just make one from a paper plate and use a squirt gun... that happened in Utah, I think Tim can explain how to do it... you might need a 10 gallon hat though if I recall correctly as Quick draw McGraw wore one of those... maybe a vest? Do ya need a badge? There were a few of those about too...LOL!We don't need to spend much to have a great time!

Sue & Di, many Wal-Marts are carrying a goat milk keifer now. Better than nothing! I think you can also buy Ultimate Flora there which is a pretty diverse and acceptable probiotic capsule. ( pretty sure the big box pharmacies are carrying it too) If ya can't swallow it, it's recommended by my doc to open a capsule and sprinkle some on your food...( she even suggested putting some in my salt water for my neti pot to help clear up my sinus infection...works like a charm)
