Guess Who???

Well y'all knew I goofed and #1 said pictures or it didn't happen and when we tried not doing the pictures we found that it still happened so I guess I may as well show y'all what I did.

Picture #1 is the culprit
Picture #2 is the who it done it to.

Wayne, we hope everything gets fixed quickly. Feel for you but I have a secret, we had it happen to us too. Will show you next Sunday.

Going to the Left Coast around that time for my son's retirement ceremony.

Prayers and ooommmss every night must be working.
Nice thought. However, we will be at Grand Teton Nat'l Park and then Yellowstone in mid to late June. (First 2 weeks of June, we'll be in someplace cool in the mountains in Utah, probably.)

It's an artist's heaven, no doubt.

During the fall and early winter, when cotton harvest is in full swing and tons of cotton lint filters up into the atmosphere, we get some stunning sunsets out here on the Panhandle South Plains of TX.
From our front yard, looking west ....

Can somebody flip that first photo upright?

Its magical. Its solitude. The colors.
The moon rise was glorious thru the front window. The stars are so bright. And there is quartz all over. Really. Just like gravel. And tomorrow i get to go buy junk and then go jeep riding.

Yep. I am in love with Quartzite.

If you see me next year with a booth dont be surprised. 250 a month for FHU for vendors and i might even sell something. Who knows. Paintings, jewelry, pottery, braiding........

Oh, wow. That IS heaven. "...magical .... solitude .... the colors..." If Kate reads that, it's all over. We'll be there.

I really think we might spend at least a month out there next year, maybe longer if we could get someplace with at least partial HUs. But are there really no places with FHUs? It's your solar panels and generator and that's it? I guess you have to pull up and go dump once a week or so. Still, it's probably worth it ....

But you said vendors can get a FHU site ... Do they have them for non-vendors?

We will look for y'all out there next winter. I'll even be volunteer help at your booth if'n you ever need help.

I believe I have read there are 'dump' trucks that come around to empty your tanks for a fee, or you can pull up, dump yourself... for a lesser fee...There is still water to deal with, you have to fill with water every so often...

There are rv parks. I think. We are about 5 miles out and can see town. Didnt get here till 3 so just settled in.

We were wanting to try it. Smile. The place we pulled into has room for 10-15 and 5 or so rock campfire areas. Will take more photos tomorrow.
