History near Tucson
I saw this on TV. The site is open this weekend and the next. If you are headed to Tucson from the north it's at exit 251 off I-10.

R U an RV Mutant too?
Hi Possum and mutants near and far!
Mary and I have had quite a ride since Christmas.
First, there was Ellie and her liver issues that postponed her spay surgery. Of course the little dickens promptly went into puberty. Otherwise, she's doing ok. We have a blood draw on Tuesday to check her liver enzymes. We suspect that her issue may be related to the cotton rope toys we gave her that were 100% guaranteed made in the U.S. Funny, they must have named a province in China U. S., because those suckers were definitely made in China.
Then there's the whole w$@" thing. Mary got laid off in September, which put a hurting on working the Plan. Good news on that front, though. Mary got offered two jobs in two days and took the one she really wanted. I got offered the opportunity to take on a huge new grant program and jumped on board. Now I'm working 60 hours a week, but happy as a pig in mud. So we're back to working the Plan.
Quilting is still my passion and avocation (Hi, Mary). I have four quilt tops waiting for me to quilt them and four more underway.
I must have fallen and hit my head, because I thought I saw Tim mention the W word.
Mel and Kate, your new little grand is a grand one.
I wish we could get out to the GC, but we got 27" of snow and the moho is not happy with it. My son wasn't happy having to go out and clear the roof three times. Son and Mary shoveled literally tons of snow to clear the walks, dig out three cars and the moho and clear enough room on the lawn for the puppies to go outside. Ellie thought snow was edible and insisted on plowing through it snout stuck in the snow. My back has been giving me fits, so I was chief cook and beverage provider and child wrangler. School didn't start back up (since last Thursday) until yesterday. The kids REALLY needed to go back to school.
So, life rolls on, with ups and downs. A few ohms for Ellie on Tuesday would be appreciated. My puppy rocking the shotgun seat wearing my ski hat:

Huh? I guess when you have to stay round, lots of stops are in order. I'll be almost out of TX tonight, will see anyone there probably Saturday...

Yeah Ellie! I was hoping it was something she was exposed to rather than some congenital problem. Snow -- 27 friggin' inches? That is as obscene as w--k. You and Mary need that plan to hurry so you can follow good weather. It's good to hear from ya!

Oh exalted grand poobah, why did you not warn me of those southern Aridzonia leaping marker poles?

Possum, Tim discovered the wandering flowerbed and the leaping tree, and we learned from him.
You have shown us the leaping pole, and we have also learned from you!
I found the wayward boulder and assume all RVMs will be wiser than I was.
There are many stories in the Naked RVMville. These are but a few of them.
