Ha Ha Tim... yep there is a weight limit but I'm under it by about 75 pounds. Lol.

Actually the sleeve appears to be aluminum and the bracket isn't... he sleeve turns with the axel inside the bracket - and then.... and without warning... it doesn't. Although it does make a noise before dying!

You can buy a lot of silicone spray with $380.

Now the redneck in me would have a tubing ran down from the handlebars to the affected areas. A can of spray silicone with the little straw attached to the can, handy in the basket! We could Bubba rig it!

There is more than a little "Arkie ingenuity" in the above statement coming from the fence and pole barn builder himself.

We sure missed you and Mary in Tucson, Tim!

Well this is the new trailer. Thought everything was grand after only 1 1/2 hours at dmv. Then I loaded the jeep!!! snap the frame broke. So I will be building it up stronger today if I can find the steel I need.

I think I will turn it on its side and squirt liquid wrench on and leave it over night. Turn it over and do the same on the other side every now and then. Or maybe silicone spray.
There are a couple of other products you may already know that would work good too, ... WD40, and LPS Google them and see what ya think.

I'm just courios(sp) why you want to drag around the extra weight of the trailer, instead of four down?

Have a blessed day.

Was that a previous owners DIY addition of the storage box? It looks like the tongue was lengthened and box added. If that the case I would inspect every weld throughly, grinding and rewelding any suspicious joints. You never know about the ability of others welding. My welds are poor so I make sure my son does most of the real stress points on any project, especially anything I'll be dragging down the highway.

If you were closer we might could help but maybe you can find someone there that will let you use their welder. Good luck!

May I ask who's where in Yuma? We're this close we may as well dip into Mexico. Any suggestions for good parks. We'ed rather not boondock.
Thanks Mutants.

Ah! It's only money. Lay off the liquid refreshment for awhile and you'll make it up in no time at all. Bottled water cost more than it is worth.

Steve, Tim can walk behind you and you can just look over your shoulder and say, "Ok Tim, spray a little now."

All good products but consider one thing. Some of the good liquid lubricants will collect dirt and could be more detrimental to the bearing. Maybe a dry lube product. LPS does make a dry lube. More research needed.

Well dang! We had wine, malt Scotch and Earlene was preparing steaks, scalloped potatoes, butternut squash, broccoli and the chocolate dish she prepared for the rally. Don't change your mind now, as I told her some time ago that you were not coming to Las Cruces and she gave it all to the neighbor. Makes me mad 'cause I'm going to miss out on good food.

Guess I'll go to Wienerschnitzel.
