We have much in common, Elizabeth. And that includes a little insanity for putting up with such monsters.

We made a special stop today in Hawthorne NV at the ordnance museum. We made a donation of some captured WWII items.

If we ever have a mutant gathering in southern AZ again I would like to recommend a revisit tp the Pima County Campground. We can up from Mexico and couldn't find decent water and called Barb at the PCC and asked about good water in the area. She said theirs was still great so i did a 30 mile detour and picked up 100 gallons. Nice people at that venue. Oh and being we were there Denise and I did dinner at the grill.

Okay, back quickly this time. Now she's in her new harness and has been out on the leash Barb gave us. I'll carry her out each time so she doesn't get the idea it's okay to go charging down the steps.

(My post was unfinished because the neighbors came over for an extended chat. Sent it off as was rather than try to finish it in front of them. I'm old fashioned thataway.)

Otherwise an uneventful day today -- cupboards mostly emptied, partially rearranged, some new organizers purchased, counters partially swept clear for supper. Exciting stuff, eh?

OTOH, there was this California Zephyr at the Amtrak station:

This is the Silver Horizon. We haven't been close enough to get a number. Yet.

An old fashion screen door spring might help keep Betsy from sneaking out as often, Sue. I've got one around here somewhere that I planned to install so Sena doesn't let Lily out. You can cover them with heavy fabric to keep them from marking up the door, but it might muffle that old-timey thang that they make.

Thanks, Barb. I'll keep that in mind. We need a crossbar anyway, so a spring could be the perfect accessory.
