Now that RVM00N is official, those of you planning your wonderings in 2017, you might want to check out the lunar eclipse that year, there's a thread here about it, best places to be, etc.

Hmmmm....GC August 17/17? After all, the star of the show is an RVM!

I'd like to suggest we plan a GC on the Oregon coast to enjoy this event that will occur August 21, 2017.

NASA - Total Solar Eclipse of 2017 Aug 21

Or perhaps several midi-Cs across the country. The temperatures will be more pleasant near the pacific or at higher elevations.

My friend Bruce who is now living in Mexico sent pics from Zihuatanejo where he's currently chilling. Andy and Red were ahead of him, but Bruce wasn't in Shawshank, that I know of.

Wow, now I HAVE to go to White Sands! Di, your girls look almost beige by comparison and I have always marveled at how white they are.

He's been a couple of times over the years and has friends there. I've never been but have lost count of the times I've seen The Shawshank Redemption. Lol.

Denise and I have decided to pull the pin and head to Quartzsite in the morning. Will spend a full day or so there looking for replacement parts for Gracie. Been fun but we will be away from fellow mutants until we check in with Dwayne and Shara up yonder. May or may not be at Dead Horse but we are seriously considering the gathering.

Dennis and Denise,

I sincerely hope you consider to be at Dead Horse. The reason I say this .... (1) we really like you both a lot ... (2) it took 3 years for the Poohbah to give you your Possum and we have no idea how long it will be before you venture back to the USA .... It's only 6 days of fun to be had !!!

Cheers !!!
