Pretty close.
We are looking for a slightly longer, rear motor coach with slides.
Denise is already talking about a rerun year after next.

1. First contact is in Oregon. If you want to be the first person to experience totality in the continental U.S., be on the waterfront at Government Point, Oregon, at 10:15:56.5 a.m. PDT. There, the total phase lasts 1 minute, 58.5 seconds.
I have a Very MUTANT Idea !!

Lets all try to be the FIRST to see this eclipse & then CARAVAN across the country to follow the "Dark Spot" as it heads over to the "Other Right" coast..

That would be a "Dash" from Oregon to South Carolina... Kinda like a "Gumball Rally"...

OK, before you criticize me, I am only the "Idea Guy" and leave it to the "Tech Guys" to work out the mechanics & details...

You *might* be able to do it if you could fly in a very fast jet, but I doubt any of our vehicles could maintain a 1000+ mph jaunt cross country, not to mention the cost of those tickets!!!

So that's the news from Camp Verde.

What's going on mutants? Tell all like Sue did! Nice pics Sue!

I am glad Annie is feeling well enough to assert herself..... Must be a great view.....

Yeah Barb, 1015 UTC would be 03:15 a.m. and the eclipse of the sun would be difficult to see.

Just sayin' 'cause I want to.

for DST it is 04:15 a.m. but has the same results trying to see the eclipse.

As I was interrupted while reading I failed to hit the quote button so you'll have to figure out whom I'm replying to!

Hang in there here Annie, glad to hear your feeling better. Getting back to the basic landscapes will help, streams, creeks, trees and bushes! Think lobsteer!

Richard your idea is novel, but, I was thinking no one could possibly do that except maybe Carl and he's turned down the challenge!

Di we were up your way yesterday, thought about coming by to help Larry but it was raining so I figured he wasn't working, but it's the thought that counts right! Happy healing!

Wayne get in step, East in 2016, West in 2017. You must of been hilarious marching in formations.

Steve you better follow orders, you've got plenty of hair for Annie to grab! Lol

Tim, you call and talk to Earlene about which way we are headed in 2016. I'll wager that she can also tell you where to go.

I'm sure it's not the rolling paper Wayne is referring to, but I heard one of those consumer types on TV yesterday saying the best prices on TP can be found online. Since I don't buy TP by the truckload I thought that was an odd comment.

But we do use LOTS of paper towels which is why I buy them at Costco. I didn't find them even close in price online.
Dang Barb, are the paper towels scratchy on the bottom when using them?

Chuck, stop showing off your age.
